Waiting for decent CFW to be released. Ferrox Cobra needs to be fixed (v1.00 is missing PSP DRM patch afaik), Overflow Cobra is using old 7.3 patches.
I'd prefer Rebug tbh but that'll probably be a longer wait than the other two options.

This is all pretty new and I'm seeing some posts about people bricking, although that can be fixed using a hardware flasher.
I'm sure brick risk will be minimized in time. If you knew someone with a hardware flasher or had one you'd already be on CFW :wacko:.
Yeah I don't have access to a flasher for free, and I'm not spending money on this. I could easily buy some more 40GB fats for the price of a flasher and I already have spare drives to upgrade them.
I've done enough reading to know what I should be doing. I just haven't actually done it before.
Just wanna exploit and then go straight to the CFW I want.

I haven't updated my CFW machine in months. Whenever the final PS3 FW rolls around I suppose I'll get to it.
