I'm aiming to search deep and long for a Elite, but if I can't I'll settle with a 4GB then look around for those HDD's.

Some stores still carry it, but it's rare.

I like the Slim a lot, can't comment on reliability though since I've not even had it for a year at this point. :(

I like the slim, and it was cheap. If it dies after a year I don't really care. I'm used to it with 360s. :wacko:

This one only had a E6something back in October 09, had it sent for repair, returned a week later with a dead laser, sent it again, got it back the next week and it has been working great since then. :P

My 360 is 2 months old, I've owned it a day.

Still, I find it weird how some stores sell the old Elite pricier than the 250GB Slim with Alan Wake and Forza 3 or something, it's like they want to keep it to sell it for big bucks in eBay in ten years. :wacko:
