Owl City - Alligator Sky
Funeral For A Friend - Hours - Alvarez
Husker Du - New Day Rising
Rise Against - The Sufferer & The Witness - Behind Closed Doors
Boys Night Out - Trainwreck - Purging
This song has one of my favourite lines from the entire album.
"I am a monster clothed in crimson sleeves with perforated lines where my wrists should be."
(For anyone who thinks this is all emo and whatnot, the album tells a story of a guy who is in love with his wife, but slips into a kind of psychosis and kills her in her sleep. The rest of the album is about him trying to re-integrate back into the real world, realize what he has done, and kill himself. Well, maybe it's a little emo... but it's a fantastic album, and for people who like post-hardcore rock, it's a must listen).
Other gems from this album:
"So come over to my house, catch up over dinner; we're having strychnine and sirloin, port wine and paint thinner"
"Marvel at this madman as this makeshift monster rips through the room"
"The perfect song will call for sedatives, sacrifice and sing-alongs; so just sing along"
"It's all about the song in my head; the one where the audience is all dead"
"Music this magnificent and medicine are one and the same"
"Now place your ear to my lips; trace these notes with your fingertips; they dance alone on my last breath; this is the end. This is death."
Psycho Killer - The Talking Heads
Kind of a catchy song. I just would suggest not listening to it a whole lot. It kind of gets stuck in your head easily and it can get really annoying when that happens (from personal experience with getting it stuck in my head).
