got my oddessey 2 game today. it works but my video is scrambled not sure what the cause is but I think it's the system itself.

Could be the system or the cord. Try opening up the system and looking inside.

Well if it's a cap issue I'll actually be buying some Hakko stuff soon. Gonna dick around on cheap stuff first but once I get the hang of it I'd give it a whirl. Might not be worth shipping cost both ways and new caps to you though. The real goal here is finally fixing my damn Game Gear, and an HDTV with a fairly bum power supply for someone I know.
