Ok who wrote Runaway Train originally. Wiki says Soul Asylum wrote it in 1992. I know Tom Petty did the song too, but I wasn't sure when. I looked up the Lyrics and MTV.com has it released on a 1987 album. And it is called Runaway Trains (Plural), but the Lyrics match that of Soul Asylums Runaway Train.
Solve this mystery for me someone.
I am pretty damn certain it was originally Soul Asylum, or was certain. It is like their biggest song.
