Anyways gotta go. Off to write the "shitty first draft" of my paper :wav:
Well now that I have the time, let me explain myself:
I was listening to the opening of Solstice and realized that it was rather fast paced complete with percussion an solo's.
In particular was the flute solo. Rock + Flute = Jethro Tull (ian anderson. :lol)
I simply connect the most impressive portion of music to the composer ie Timmy. What I find most impressive about the man is that even with todays capabilities in chiptune composition (the fact that we have full fledged music trackers with full control of each individual instrument) he STILL manages to get the most incredibly sounds out of the NES that I have ever heard. you realize that back then, ALL chip based 8 and 16 bit synthesizers had CODED music. Every last bit of it was written in clear as day TEXT. There were no GUI's, there was no midi input and instrument presets. :idol:
Then again, it was a very poor comparison becuase Ian can't even lick Tim's boots. :ignore:
Out of the ordinary Wednesday eviction tonight on BB :]
