Anthology (PS3 gets all the old PS1 Re games)
vs. Archives (360 get Code Veronica HD, RE4 HD, RE5 HD, and the crap Degeneration movie.)

Also, the CG movie was better than the live action ones.

I do agree that it's silly, I have no interest in either of the things Nem mentioned.

Me neither, in fact I think the whole HD remake thing is one of the worst scams ever. I have no problem downloading earlier games and playing them on emulators. Go ahead people, waste your money on a slightly shinier games.

I'm falling for the "new content" trap with Zone of the Enders. Hell I own real copies of both games already and I'm still going to grab the HD collection. I'll wait until I can get it for $10 though.

I did for Star Ocean 1 and 2 on the psp but at the time though I didn't have any other platform to play on. And they added a fair amount of stuff, at least for First departure if I remember correctly.

I'm a fan of ports of that nature. Things like Arc the Lad collection on PSN, Valkyrie Profile on PSP etc...have made the actual releases easier to acquire. Pretty sure it was the first time that the first Star Ocean game received an actual English release. The 2nd one was around $40-50 used before the port and now it's safely around $13 which is much nicer.
