Exactly :P. You should check out http://www.zevera.com. I use it pretty often, I go somewhere to download so I don't really have time to wait :P. I get 1mb/s per file downloading three files from MF. The only time I get slower rates is if a bunch of people are at the library.

I get approximately 600 kb/s if I'm downloading 5~10 files on Mediafire.

If you get an account I'd suggest just buying GB, time based ones are only worth getting if you're going to be downloading stuff from a bunch of sites daily. 600kb/s per file :O?
