Metroid Prime 3. Awesome game, so much better than MP2 and most parts of MP1. Aurora Unit 313 was too easy though and there wasn't enough Dark Samus. And the ending was kinda sucky... Now I want to know the significance behind the 100% ending. Oh and a brand new 2D Metroid would be nice. WITH EVEN MORE RIDLEY BATTLES PLEASE!
And I also beat Portal. Wow what a game. Nothing more need to be said. The credit theme was lovely!
Perfect Cherry Blossom.
Now to attempt on hard.
Either that or get into Mountain of Faith.
Half-Life 2: Episode 2. Man, the Strider battle was EPIC.
I beat Gradius II last night, it was pretty good.
Y'know, maybe I just suck, but I found the final stage of the last battle to be annoyingly difficult.
I kept getting hit by the boss, as I was unable to doge effectively. Having to go through the entire level each time I died didn't do much to help things either, as after the third time slogging through the level just to get killed when so close to victory, I just got fed up and haven't played the game since.
I found it incredibly easy. It managed to hit me once by dashing at me and and a couple of times with the lasers but I had well over 50% of the Phazon gauge left when the battle was over. Did you play on normal or veteran? I heard veteran is a pretty big step in difficulty.
And eh... wow you really have to go through the whole last level if you die on the boss? That sucks! Yesterday I died on a miniboss and discovered that I was allowed to continue right from the door I last went through. I would've guessed they had done something like that right before the final boss. :O
Oblivion for a second time.
Man that vampireism is a right bitch especially when your so close to the end of the game.
My feelings on this game havent changed. Shallow and crap story.
Play Morrowind for way more awesome!
I wish they would just Pimp my Morrowind to 360
1 Shadowrun - Genesis
2 Shadowrun - SNES
3 Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Playstation
Just finished Spiderman 3, one of the easiest games I've ever played. It was way to short too. BTW skullpoker, Shadowrun is a great game, I've beaten the snes one too, although quite some time ago. Also SOTN, one of the best side scrollers ever. Did you flip the castle???
Yeah, I would've thought that would be the case as well, or at least I hoped it would be, but then I had to not only go through the level again, but go through each step of the final battle again. It would've been alright had it just made me go through the entire battle again, but to have to slog through the level over and over was just plain annoying.
Oh, and I don't recall what difficulty I played it on. Whatever the default is, I guess. I probably played it on the easiest mode, but since I can't side-step for shit, I kept getting hit when the last form would spin around really quickly from one side of the arena to the other.
On a related note, what's a good strategy for the final form anyway? I keept shooting it, but not getting much damage done on it. @_@
Hmm... I think I beat Shadowman 2 a week ago. Not as bad as I thought it would be (I even braced myself, honest!), but short. Little backtracking = sweetness, though... Strawberry-kinda sweetness... Yummay!
Guerilla War (NES), not bad
Gradius 2,1,3 ( working on gradius 5)
super nova, darius twin, darius2
r-type 1,2 super r-type, (working on r-type final)
Just beat Secret of Monkey Island. Fun game, funny too.
Finished the last case of Phoenix Wright 3, and it is confirmed. Godot is probably the best prosecutor, for all that ~SERIOUS SPOILER EXCERPT~ (or perhaps partially because of it). And I know that the shippers are having fun with Phoenix/Maya, Phoenix/Fransizka, and even...ah, who am I kidding, especially Phoenix/Edgey, but I think Phoenix and that person in particular would be the best together.
Oh, and just for amusement factor, I'll throw in Fransizka/Adrian. That whip? Those credits.
Also (serious spoiler image from 3-5 alluded above: do not look if you haven't finished; you have been warned)...
Spoiler warning:
Heh, three posts in such a short span; I am being far more fannish than I have been in such a long time.
Just beat Shining Force, and also beat all the numbers of opponents on all difficulties on Risk (seemed way too easy to me).
Call of Duty 4. Yeah this game was really short, but super badass.
Zeruda Phantomu no Hourglassu. AWESOME GAME! Now give me the next chapter in the Wind Waker universe please.
Call of Duty 4
Valkyrie Profile, again.
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. Awesome, awesome game. Took me nearly 14 hours to beat, too. Definitely not a short game.
I just beat Shining Force 2. I wish my computer could handle Saturn emulators so I could play the other Shining Force games... Or that I could find and afford the console and games... :(
edit: Ah well... I'm supposed to be getting a laptop through financial aid (college courses I'm gonna be taking require a better computer than I currently have) so maybe it'll be powerful enough.
Recently completed Mario Galaxy and Rocket Slime (okay, the latter I did ages ago but recently beat all of Morrie's tank challenges).
I finally beat "Play With Me" last night on Guitar Hero the 80s last night on expert. I doubt I will be taking the time to 5 star all of the songs.
Beyond Good and Evil.
Episode 3 of Fedora Spade. As expected, it was pretty good, and worth the wait. Anyone interested in a retro-ish adventure game, go here and get them.
I finished Mario Galaxy with something like 65 stars, in order to unlock the purple coin missions. I'm going for 100 percent in this game, because it's just that good.
Dragon Quest Monsters Joker (NDS)
Got all 120 stars in Super Mario Galaxy. Only 121 more to collect... >_>
Finally beat Castlevania: Bloodlines on the genesis today. I had to use save states, because I'd quit for a while after I beat each stage, and could never remember the passwords..... And yes, I know I could have written them down, but using the states was easier.
Beat Silent Hill Origins last night. So many questions but so few answers. One of the best Silent Hill games ever. The story is about as complicated as the storyline of SH2. And the Butcher is almost as cool as Pyramid Head.
Finished Resident Evil Zero last night, it was cool and all. But I think it was a bit short and while the item dropping and picking is innovative sometimes it was pretty much annoying. >_>
So yeah, I can go back to random playing.
I beat PE2 and well just FFXI and its first expansion
super mario 3 and world on GBA.
Breath of Fire 2.
Last boss has about a dozen penises.
Intriguing.
I beat YS III today.
