Apparently MacT really wants to try and snag Simmonds. Sounds like they haven't been able to agree on a price -- would probably have to give up one of our young guns, like Eberle or Yakupov, which I don't think MacT is ready to do yet.

Giroux will hopefully improve some in the coming weeks. Who knows though. I think the Flyers are a lost cause this season. Also TBH, and I know it's blasphemy, but I haven't really been into hockey nearly as much this season. :shrug:

I typoed that, I meant year. But yeah, it doesn't help that your entire roster has been underperforming, same as ours. Given how successful the Flyers were a few years ago, and how retarded your GM can be sometimes, it looks like you're entering a couple of rebuilding years where it's gonna get painful to watch. Buffalo fans and Oilers fans are going through the same thing right now. :lol
