Hilariously, 3 worked fine for me.

So I don't even think it's an engine thing. Just some shit code or something that isn't going kosher.

Trying to run the thing sans any patches now to see if that works. Fix one thing, break two others, etc. If this fails, someone is getting a very annoyed e-mail.

But hey, I lose my mind a little if I've got gaps in a story.

Maybe if that guy who did that awesome AC1 LP was actually interested in the renaissance this could be a great method to things.

But I guess there's only so much history to be had with "people painted things, some guys started putting all the word of mouth slander to print (starting the first gossip rags in the process) and these guys were mad about where the borders were drawn".

It's funny how you come to appreciate stuff you weren't very fond of before once you discover something even worse.

It's funny, this is the first game out of ~170 (probably closer to 200 since I had this before trophies and I believe the sig only tracks the number of trophy related games) to do this to me.

And I've played goddamn everything.

For all the bugs the fallout games threw my way, they ran and didn't cause more than the occasional lockup or weird graphical error (IE: stuff that's bog standard in any open world game of that type).

But this shit right here?

Oh well, once I'm done deleting I'll pleasure myself with some Dragon's Dogma or possibly Deadly Premonition.

At least those might actually run for longer than 5 seconds.
