I just started playing GRAW 2.
I'm not too far into it yet, haven't been able to get a proper gaming session in recently, but it's pretty much like the original in terms of aesthetics although much more polished. Just like the original it more platformer/action rather than action/platformer, but so far I am really digging it.Quote:

Played Atmosphere the board game (known in America as nightmare) Really good laugh if done right :) Since the game requires watching a video, you need to space out sessions of this game by about 6 months so you forget what happened.

Played the first five hours of Baten Kaitos in one sitting today. :'D Maybe it's just the Monolith Soft fangirl in me talking, but I really, really like this game so far. ^_^ The card-based battle system is super-fun and so not what I expected, the setting is lovely, the pre-rendered environments are just gorgeous, and while I pretty much loathe Motoi Sakuraba, I must admit the soundtrack is not half bad, and definitely up there with some of his earlier work as the best he has to offer. The lack of beautiful Mitsuda music aside, at times the game as a whole feels deliciously like Chrono Cross, which I suppose is no surprise when you consider that many of the same staff members were involved. I love the touch of having the player be a spirit inhabiting the main character's body, too. It's really cute when the main character turns round and asks for your input on something directly. :'D
Unfortunately the analogue stick on my Gamecube controller is nerfed and I can't make the main character run when I'm moving upward, so I've had to either plod slowly or run diagonally when moving toward the top of maps. XD Holding off playing any more until I get a new one. :'D Guess that's what I get for buying a beat up one out of a junk store. ^_^ Hopefully my cheapo Gamecube memory card doesn't go the same way~

Just started Ocarina of Time 3D on a borrow 3DS. I think it is making me a bit cross-eyed. I have to turn the 3D function down really low to almost off to not feel weird.
Found out about the sequels, going to try and grab them for my birthday so we can have a night of board games. The 4 nightmare games alone should kill 4 hours :wacko: Plus some general video gaming should make for a fun night :DQuote:
