If you have XP MCE and a Radeon X1950, I can tell you that the Catalyst is up to version 7.9. :P

Updating wouldn't hurt you, methinks. But, ask someone who actually knows anything about this. :nod:

Actually in 7.8 and 7.9 there are problems with X1900's, and is strongly recommended you use 7.7. The X1300 shouldn't have an issue with them however :)

There aren't any real driver requirements for DX9.0c. Although you should update them in case there are problems, expecially since the 6.12's are old as hell.

Updated to 7.9. Pretty painless, I didn't even cry once.
