Dyslexic says Brian Red
what a dreary day it's going to be.
Win7 BSOD'd and then couldn't boot anymore. Fixed MBR, it broke windows. Fixed windows with system restore it broke the start menu for some reason.
In the end was left with no choice but to do clean install, took me a day and a half to get everything back the way it was before.
Lesson of the day: NEVER MULTIBOOT!
(actually multiboot it's very useful, but a beware of huge headaches when one of the OS break)
:blargg:
I learned why no one really likes brown rice, I cooked some and ate a little bit while wondering why the texture is so damn odd.
After a few minutes I realized why, brown rice is essentially oats the look like rice.
totally edible after I threw some in a frying pan with chicken, purple onion and peas along with some blackening seasoning.
It made some decent fried rice. :)
I only eat brown rice.Maybe you undercooked it. It is to be cooked longer than bleached rice.
Lately I have been missing my rice cooker. Back at college I had found one at Goodwill for $5 which some foreign student had gotten rid of. It was a damn fine rice cooker from Tiger electronics. Tiger has these cute little mascots for their japanese products.
I used the ol trusty rice cooker, it was cooked well but its brown rice which is whole grain.
Whole grain is always tough.
I also learned that barley is pretty damn healthy for you, it reduces the sugars you absorb and is good for treating stomach cancer.
