These DS9 rips I got recently are better than the old avi set I've had for God knows how long.

I think the old set is divx/avi rip, this new set is x264/mkv and nearly twice the file size.

x264 at twice the filesize is guaranteed to be better unless they really screwed up somewhere :thot:.

I see DS9 has weirdly gone up in price since I bought the series.

These x264/mkv rips are pretty much DVD quality :shrug: Although if I actually had the retail DVDs they would look better via my blu-ray player due to 1080p upscaling.
There aren't any blu-ray remasters of DS9 or Voyager. DVD is the best available.
