Time for worken.
Reinstalling Windows 7 on my mam's laptop. It's been running the same install of 7 since 2009.
Saintvicious has said that is an old contract and is not entirely truthful
But yeah, I honestly don't see what I wrong with Riot doing that. I mean last year they gave all LCS players fresh lvl 30 accounts with all champions/skins/runes and such unlocked and made a contest of who could reach challenger first on the accounts, and told them you have to stream the games. Granted they took the accounts away at the end of LCS, but that's because no guarantee same players going to be in LCS, if they hadn't WildTurtle would have 4 accounts in Challenger xD
I understood none of those words.
Loving it so far. I've only played a couple of simple games on it. I finally sat down and went through the list of games that PS+ gave me and deleted the ones that didn't interest me (Germinator, Wipeout, Plants vs. Zombies although I might come back to that one, etc). Definitely gonna have to buy that trigger grip thing that Beelz linked me to the other day, although I'm gonna see if I can find something in town first before I order from Amazon, 'cause I hate ordering from Amazon.
I've only played Rayman Origins, Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, and Machinarium at the moment. I started playing Mega Man Maverick Huunter X (the "remake" of Mega Man X), but I threw up in my mouth at how absolutely cringey and bad it was and promptly deleted it. :lol
Was just gonna come in searching for any suggestions on Vita games that are a must buy (other than Persona 4 Golden, because huge RPGs don't interest me at the moment), but I was gonna wait for more people to be around first. :lol
Any suggestions?
Argos are selling the Vita with two games, and a 4gb mc for £140. I was gonna buy one from a friend a while back, never got around to it.
I've just got a plastic protective shell that goes over my Vita, it has a clear window over the rear screen, which can be removed, which I use to stop myself poking the rear touch screen, as most games I've played don't even use it for anything much anyway. I don't think I'd need a grip, but the plastic shell does give it a more grippy feel.
Games I've enjoyed on the Vita... Let me think:
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection - Both games look and play fantastically, very few issues (very minor slowdown when there's a lot of explosions), but other than that, nearly perfect! :D
Walking Dead - If you've already played it on PS3 you know what to expect here, although there's a lot of loading/slowdown problems with it for some reason. :(
Resistance Burning Skies - I enjoyed this game, but a lot of people hate on it because it's short and boring. I found the length to be just right for a handheld FPS? And it's :platinum: able in about 5 hours! :D
I'm currently playing Sega All Stars Transformed, which looks beautiful and plays fantastic too! But if you've already played it on PS3, it's just the same game. Nothing additional.
A lot of more highly regarded games, I've not even played yet myself. :-/
Like Soul Sacrifice, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Wipeout 2048, Dragon's Crown, Muramasa Rebirth, Persona 4 Golden, etc etc.
Don't have too much interest in the Metal Gear games at the moment. I bough a bunch of them 'cause they were cheap, and then I just kind of lost interest. I have The Walking Dead -- I bought it cheap off a PSN sale, and the Vita that I bought was bundled with a download code for it. I should probably gift that to someone...
I'll have to check out Resistance: Burning Skies. I played Resistance 2 at a buddy's place and really enjoyed it, just haven't gotten around to playing any more games in the series. I'm not overly concerned about length -- I tend to like shorter games sometimes. And I've heard everyone around here raving about Dragon's Crown, but I have no idea what it is. :lol
And those Sonic racing games are fun. I played through the first one on PS3 and genuinely enjoyed myself, but never got around to buying Transformed.
My parents have a laptop that was Vista back then but has had a 7 upgrade on it for a while.
It's quite terrible; the fan is always going nuts and the cpu usage spikes :lol
I offered to freshen it up but neither of them like that idea. They never have.
They'll probably just buy another laptop...they have 4 atm
Now that I know how the story plays out, I'm gonna play through The Walking Dead and try and make different decisions just to see how much the story changes. Like, attempting to keep different people alive, perhaps? Is that possible? I want it to be possible... :(
