I did check the options and didn't see anything there didn't know about quicksync.

I know that. thats why I have been messing around with settings and encoders to see what works best. the app I'm using just seems to be a bit of a resource hog so I want something a bit lighter on my system that has some of the same features as debut does.

Gotta search, alternative.net is nice but not all programs are featured, I stumble on alot of nifty ones from random searches like that encoder I linked ya to before, seems to be faster than vidcoder which is based on handbreak, one of the most popular encoder programs.

last time I used google to search as usualy google is biased as hell with their results. I'll have to look through that site and see if i can find something.

Startpage and dukgo are decent search engines.
