I've found CDRomance to be good for english translations.
Welp, Below Zero is done. Think I got full gamer score too which doesn't happen very often but I think almost every single one is tied to the adventure anyways so it isn't hard to get.
Good game :top:
Hey, long time lurker and user of Emuparadise here. Just last week I still used this site and now just saw that it's not responding anymore (dead?). Most of the stuff might be on other sites, but I didn't know this site used to host artbooks, comics and magazines. Didn't saw many of them anywhere else. Anyone have those or know how to reach the admins? I really would like to have torrent/link. Would even pay the fees for host, if they would bring back the site for a little while to download all of them

Hey don't Harold me. I didn't post that

MOD ABUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suspect Kingdom Come Deliverance is going to be a lot harder than I expected. I haven't played it much so far and I've seen a lot of cutscene stuff at the start. I even died before the main title intro :lol
Picking locks is painful, there is a setting to change that to "simplified" but it actually seems more difficult. Haven't tried picking any pockets but I expect that to be hard.
This is just on normal difficulty (I could only see 2 settings for that at the start).
Took me a while to steal some items and then trade bit by bit to build up 10 lockpicks ('cos the trader had hardly any coin).
Then trying to get into one chest I broke like 4 picks  That was just to get armour etc so I could leave the castle bailey.
This sorta reminds me of playing Morrowind on Xbox for the first time many many years ago. I know they're different games and Morrowind has more options to make things easier but I just can't think of anything else that ever gave this much trouble and yet I still want to play it :lol
And some dialogue options. Timed? I didn't expect that, first time I was eating something with the controller sitting on the couch
I've already done single combat a few times with looters and that wasn't simple button mashing. I'm dreading having multiple enemies at low skills level :lol
playing duke nukem 3d really helps to relieve stress.
The timed conversations aspect sounds lame. All that does is encourage me to check a walkthrough.
Not all conversations are timed. Anyway it was only the first time I saw it I wasn't expecting it at all (previous stuff wasn't timed).
Spoiler warning:
any of you play a game called gothic? I grabbed it yesterday along with a couple other games haven't installed it yet though. I'm feeling pretty burned out on fantasy rpgs.
I just found Walter White from Breaking Bad in Fallout76!!!!
started playing morrowind this'll be the third time I feel like I can get into it like the first time.
oblivion is still my favorite still haven't got to play skyrim.
Skyrim is better than Oblivion.
Morrowind is still my fav (nostalgic reasons but also levitation and other game elements that later games don't have) but the standard goty version hasn't aged well. It really begs for mods but I don't play any of these on PC (I do have retail discs and digital dumps though).
Fans of TES III have been begging for a remaster/remake for years but it would require a complete rebuild of the game on a new engine, probably no money to be made. The game can look rather nice with mods or there are some fan remakes (dunno if any of them are still developed right now though).
The only official "modernised" version is the original game via BC on XB1 and XBS/X platforms but it doesn't bring any mods just really smooth gaming and upscaled resolutions that really do look clean. The load screens even on XB1S (which isn't an expensive console) are very fast, better than modern games. The in-game loading when you transition from one open area to another, you don't notice that at all unlike the actual original game.
Also Marvels Avengers just popped up out of nowhere on Gamepass. Never thought that would be offered on the service.
It would be nice if XB1 allowed mods for games like PC platform does. I understand why it doesn't exist though. Hopefully one day someone will come up with a way to do it.
Previous gen if you have a modded console you can use mods for TES and Fallout games, simple mods like cheat sorta stuff but also some extra things (FO3 add small removed content back, I've done that on PS3 but it isn't much).
If you have JTAG/RGH 360 you can even use Morrowind with some mods but nothing crazy like graphics improvements, the game is emulated and can still be buggy on 360.
It isn't buggy on XB1S at all, I don't recall ever seeing a crash or lockup so far (haven't played the whole game on that platform though).
Skyrim has some mods on XB1. Also noticed some for Doom 1 and 2 as well like whole game conversions etc.
