Not sure. Regular users have different dimension restrictions to mods/retros.
When you go to the "Edit Avatar" screen, it should say something like "Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 117.2 KB (whichever is smaller)" twice, once right under each field where you can enter your file's location, either online or on your computer. Most members, I believe, are restricted to 100 pixels square. You can then check the size of your image. If it's larger than the maximum size, it is too big. This, one would presume, is logically consistent with the restrictions.Quote:
