Glad I could help out.

had an urge to play a jrpg so I've been playing lufia and the fortress of doom(I'm playing a hacked version so it has less encounters) it's hitting the spot for now.
With emulators using the speed-up function is great for JRPGs. Espcially those that are turn based.
Cheat codes speed them up too :sa-bgrin:.
:squint:
Tested my PSP Go card adapter just before, using sandisk 32GB micro SD card. Works fine.
Just did a quick external test using a small bit of blutack to hold the adapter on the back of the console :pwacko:
I may look at complete reshell and extended back mod for this now (and eventually vita battery).
Yeah if you get an enlarged back (or print a large back) you can install vita battery, either original standard or larger capacity type. You need extra space for it though. From what I have seen and read the enlarged case actually makes the Go more comfortable to use for larger hands in particular. Reshell would mean buying a complete kit though, so if I get both I'd end up with another spare (new) standard size back.
All up it's a bit of money though.
But I'd end up with a nice unit even though it still doesn't have the headphone socket.
The multi port has a/v out anyway and the speakers work fine so idk if I'll ever bother chasing the missing port  I'll keep an eye out anyway.
I wouldn't sink that kind of time or money into it unless I thought it would see frequent use. Is it USB only for power delivery?
There is an official dock for this model but it's usually expensive whenever available now.
It's possible to create a docking cable though.
I have a North American type PS Vita and A Asian type PSP. I know with the Asian variants, Circle is confirm and X or Cross is cancel. Its a bit cumbersome when you're used/grew up with the NA button confirmations/cancels.
