3000 Kilabits = 3 Megabits. So yea. However some downloads are expressed in Bytes and not bits.

Well this is what it reads:
download adverage speed of 3000kbps! per file.

*shrug* but doesnt say anything about what speed im on, like 512k/128k, just shows download speeds.
Could be becuase if you are not close to a tower you might get slower speeds?

And doubtful, the closer you are to the tower the better the signal. It doesn't actually affect speed.
