It's a really good game, the first 30 minutes or so is just incredibly dull and (thankfully) nothing like the rest of the game. Once you're past that and everything opens up a bit it's a lot of fun. I hated it the first time too but I gave it another chance and it was probably my favourite game of last year.

That actually describes a lot of games.
