I want to like yu-gi-oh more, but it has too many fundamental flaws that prevent the gameplay from being as rich as Magic or Legend of the Five Rings.
Wow, Magic the Gathering fag time, I'm outta here.
Something like that. First off there is a severe lack of good draw which brings us directly to the next problem. There is a lack of good draw because the only card cost in the game is your own life and with creatures it is sacrificing other creatures. This instantly makes anything that cheats bigger creatures into play a go-to idea and prevents things like good draw from existing because simply playing one card and getting advantage is impossible to balance. Hell you don't even get advantage from Graceful Charity but it's still one of the best cards in the game.
Most importantly though it's way too troublesome to build a consistent solitaire deck, which is what I enjoy.
Very confusing, im gonna look at that now......
There are so many poor pilots out there. The go-to move is to blame your luck when you could have played something differently and changed the flow of the game. I find it's a good idea to reflect on your losses. Especially if it's not just a game where you have a terrible match-up.
