lol Disgaea is so easy.
The only hard Atlus games are the ones that Atlus actually develops. The ones they just publish vary in difficulty.
Good, so you know what happens when you bring up the game that is not to be mentioned. Don't make me show you the bear again.
And that's part of it. The other part is that I find it somewhat troublesome when publishers get credit for games they had nothing to do with, or hate for things that are clearly not their fault. Which was also the partial subtext of that article I completely neglected and subsequently never found time to actually finish at any point.
Also, because there's been comments like that FOREVER and I might as well nip(pon ichi) them in the bud.
DEMON'S SOULS IS SUCH A SHITTY BUGGY FUCKING MESS GUYS. TYPICAL ATLUS WEEABO FAGGOTRY, OMG. WHY DOES ANYONE LIKE THEIR STUPID BULLSHIT GAMES WITH ARTIFICIAL DIFFICULTY AND STUPID PSUEDORELIGION PLOTS?
And so forth.
After Disgaea and the like did fairly well, N1 started doing some localization through a start up affiliate which handled all subsequent games. Atlus USA mostly just gave them a foothold in the west which lead to them eventually being able to localize the future disgaeas under a pure Nippon Ichi license. Since 1.) it could clearly sell, and 2.) they now had all that western market cashflow.
Geez im gone for 15 mins and have to backread that much? :ugh:
