There is nothing to sue about? i pay 22$ a month to save roughly 100-200$ depending on games. I see nothing wrong with them not seling their copies unless demand drops.

I think Hastings was going to just keep my money and hope I'd forget about it. I just called and explained the situation again (they were supposed to refund my money Monday), and she goes "hold on just a minute". When she comes back she's like "Oh, that was JUST canceled today! You should see a refund in a few days."

Rental companies aren't in the business of selling. They only do it when they have more copies than the demand requires.

With a shit load of users renting games left then right and 5 shipping stations lifting out. They have to manage there money plus when they do sell shit its piss poor cheap. All the games i've received are in tip-top condition as they replace them once they get to a certain point ect. I see NO reason for them to need to demand to sell you them. Plus it would be more complicated doing the rentals if they sold more often. Think its a RENTAL not a STORE. The buying shit is just a side when they feel they have extra copies.

Their customer service is shitty. One of the ones near me went out of business. Kind of a shame because I would randomly find rare OOP anime sets there for sane prices.

You are right......however, I said they can always buy those copies back, they still can have the customers rent as many games as possible.
I am an game owner, I cannot rent.

Thing is when they sell its dirt cheap so they would pay more for new copies. They would rather keep them out shipping left and right hell i hardly wait 2-3 days unless there are storms ect slowing us mail or our ohio mail place is jerking off. I'm sure this will make a few of you happy, Dead Space 3 has a more likley chance to be a thing as it was spoted for pre-order on a south africa game website.

And ubisoft is being sued for supposibly coping the book "Link" When they were making Assasin's Creed. Here is more details.

A sci-fi author is suing Ubisoft over the Assassin's Creed series, claiming that the open-world murder simulator rips off his novel 'Link.' John L. Beiswenger's 2002 story involves using technology to access ancestral memories, biblical and spiritual nonsense, and the odd assassin or two, which he says AC copied. He's seeking several million dollars in damages, and looking to block the release of Assassin's Creed III.
The complaint (via GI.biz) alleges that Ubisoft "knew Link existed and copied a substantial portion of the copyrighted work."
In Link, the 'Link' chair-shaped technological doodad lets people live the memories of their ancestors. In the Assassin's Creed series, the 'Animus' chair-shaped technological doodad lets people live the memories of their ancestors to stab people in the face. Beiswenger claims that both the concepts and the physical devices are similar, because Ubisoft copied him.
Also supposedly copied are a plot featuring assassins, which an evil organization tries to find using its magic tech to find other assassins. The suit points out that both reference gods, Eden, Adam and Eve, and various mystical and spiritual things.
What it doesn't do, however, is explain why Beiswenger is adamant Ubisoft knew about Link. It explains that the book was sold through various sites, but doesn't say why this means someone at Ubisoft had read it before coming up with Assassin's Creed.
Of course, one might observe that the ideas of Assassin's Creed are quite likely to spawn from a culture where The Matrix and Dan Brown's claptrap were so popular. Those too can trace their roots down through fiction, because that's how culture works.
Curiously, Beiswenger is going after Gametrailers as well as Ubisoft. The suit points out that the video site posted an official trailer for the Assassin's Creed space in PlayStation Home, and covered Assassin's Creed Revelations in an episode of GTTV. Supposedly GT did this knowing about Link, making it legally liable.
The suit's looking to block the release of Assassin's Creed III and books, videos or anything based on it. It's after at least $1,050,000 in damages, or $5,250,000 if the desired jury trial deems the claimed infringement to be willful.

When they sell them they have had them for a bit so they could care less the pricing as when they deem it alright to sell the game they arn't planning on ever needing more.

prices depend on amount they have and deamand. Newer games sell faster used as they are requiring more on release day. Some games like most popular they do sell new only. And they sell pc games similar to steam.
