It's funny how computer opponents are harder than people.
I still wish I could win in MvC every once in a while. :ugh:
Ahaha. ^_^ It was a bit of a 'turn off your brain at the entrance' kind of film. And it did kind of fall apart in its latter segments. I thought Smith was pretty good, though. And really all that I look for in a film is to be entertained anyway. ^^;;; Anything else is a bonus.
...
It wasn't very Elin, though. And that seems to be practically a requirement these days for me to really like a film. ;__; I remember the days when my list of favourite films read like a film critic's. It's gotten...just a tad more embarrassing since then. ^_^
Okay, playing GH is not a good idea right now.
*switches to Fire Emblem.
Only Ray got that one. :cry:
/off to eat
Ahaha. ^_^ You make a fair point. Why am I actually wanting to give up the last vestiges of manliness that cling to my real life self? I should be fighting off the influence of this strange online persona, not welcoming it.
...
Although actually, to be honest, I don't really care anymore. I think I'm already too far gone. ^_^
Man, Opiate should last longer. It's like the best Tool album ever.
Are you saying a computer is harder than me?
*whips out penis*
Are you sure you don't want to test it again?
"I got shot in the buttocks"
I can enjoy that sort of thing, however I draw the line at psychics, prophets, and gods showing up in sci-fi for no apparent reason. They might as well have had a wizard show up and teleport scientist dude to pre cure NYC to warn about how the cure for cancer will turn into a super virus. Heck, that might've been preferable. It's an especially large slap in the face when you consider how far they go in most other areas to explain the virus and it's spread in a somewhat realistic manner. Just to toss in magic butterflies, people who can talk to god, and children who can see the future.Quote:

Nothing wrong with having a list of "normal" films as being favorites. Personally I'm normally bored out of my skull by the average "critically acclaimed" film, whereas some of my favorite films tend to be rather poorly treated by the critics. Apparently a making a horribly formulaic oscar film is a terrible thing, but making a fairly average action film that throws in a couple of good chuckles is a crime against nature (fucking critics...)
Party? Me? You'll be lucky if you can convince me to even meet you. ^_^ But...assuming I can muster enough courage, then...yes, let's party. :wacko:
Actually, a bunch of the 2003 crowd were talking about coming out to see me during my third year of university. I'd be in Japan, which isn't quite the trip from the US that Scotland is. It's also probably more interesting. ^_^ It'd just be weird at this point, though. I'm not sure how I'd handle meeting people that I've talked to in writing for five years with hardly a word actually being spoken between us.
When you fail "Carry on Wayward Son" you know you're not concentrated to play.
Oatmeal. I'm hungry.
I think maybe I suffered less in that I knew very little about it going in. I wasn't really expecting anything Sci-Fi-ish in particular, and ended up just taking it for what it was, silliness and all. ^_^ I don't know. I'm never very inclined to poke holes in films anyway, regardless of genre. I'm pretty good at suspending disbelief completely. Rather frighteningly good. <_<;
I did kind of...find the overt pro-religiousness of it a bit revolting, though. It's totally cool to make a film that's pro-religious. But underlying themes ought to be...ah...underlying? ^^;;;
Some friends were playing at a party and they did the whole lighter in hand while we played that and Freebird. :P
Mine is Iron Man, from GH1, probably isn't really hard, but I love it since it was one of the first songs I could play by ear. :P
I can't do the solo, though. >__>
Seems I'm out of incense...
I wonder if the markets are on today...
I liked the cover version of the first GH, many people hated it but I liked the feeling of the cover versions, kinda like an amateur guitarist would sound if they played the songs on his own guitar.
We'll get back alive and safe to our homeland and you will end your world tour as a hobo, all fucked up by drugs and looking like that Peppers guy in Amsterdam.
So yeah, you and I are going to have a lot of fun. :D

Whoever wants to use it, go ahead. got it in the mail.
The movie's about a cancer cure gone virus that wipes out most of earth. How can you not expect some sort of bizarre science based apocalypse? :wacko:
Oh how I wish I could just completely avoid noticing plot holes and things getting jammed into the story like a huge 12 inch cock in a prepubescent girl's virgin vagina. (I'm really getting out there with these analogies....) It'd greatly increase my ability to enjoy movies. I tend to be a lot better at it when I'm not actually expecting some sort of sensible story. Were this a B movie or packed with newbies, I'd let it slide. Neither case is really true. ::\:
Even that wouldn't be quite so bad were it not for the fact that the entire plot resolution is based off god talking to some random chick. Seriously? ARE YOU SHITTING ME? I could not have :ugh: 'd harder.
:drool:
I'm trying to avoid the posts of anything related to I Am Legend. I plan to see it one of these days.
Cloverfield too.
