Posting a Broken Link ? Read this first.

Hello, i've been having issues when it comes to downloading .ISO files for my PSP-3001. I'll tell you what happens, downloading the file goes off without a hitch and works just fine. I get the file as a .RAR, of course at this point, you have to convert it from .RAR to .ISO. So i extract the entire .RAR file then enter the extracted file, find .r00 and extract. I've always done this and the ISOs work correctly. But i have met two games that refuse to work, God of war: Ghost of sparta and MX Vs. ATV: on the edge. They download fine and extract fine, but s**t hits the fan when i attempt to extract the .r00 file, i keep getting diagnostic messages from winRAR saying that the "Volume is broken" or "File is corrupt".
So in other words, GOW: ghost of sparta and mx vs. atv: on the edge are broken .ISOs. Please help.

extract via the rar file not the r00 that is the second file not the first file in the series, the rar should be at the end of the files list

if the error is coming from 7-zip then try out winrar as well, this may be one of the few times that you need to revert back to winrar, same thing applies extract via the rar file

I'm not quite sure about what you just said... I've always used winRAR to perform these little operations and i do have 7zip, i don't use it often, but it's there.

Assuming what you just said, I accessed the iso through winRAR--->Found the ISO file ".RAR"--->Extracted to a file on my desktop--->I end up with only the .RAR file, it does nothing.
I'm not entirely sure what you want me to do here...

Link for Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley (USA) isn't working.

I downloaded it with Chrome, 2 times (included my browser info below). My attempts were at 11:00 pm UTC+8 yesterday, then at 2:00 pm UTC+8 today.

Both times, when I extracted the file, 7-zip would report that the ISO file is broken.

I just tested both the US and EU version and they are extracting fine. I suggest you switch your download mode to FTP on the download page and retry. You need to extract the rar file and then the .rar file within. You'll get a .ISO file at the end.

I tried again on FTP. Like with HTTP, I had no problems extracting the first rar file, but when I attempted to extract the rar file within, this is what I got (like the two times my download failed):

That is a multi-part RAR archive, right? If so, try using a different software. I came across archives which 7-Zip refused to unpack, but WinRAR did the trick.

If there is an *.rar file extract via that file only as that is the first file in the series of files not *.r00 it is also on the end of the list of files instead of the top due to windows file sorts

Ahhh finally got it to work. Zorlorn was right.

@meatss You need to be more specific on what the problem is. What is "corruption"? Does the zip/rar not extract? Most of these files are tested at least as far as extraction through the years so it might be a download issue. Can you tell me more about say:

as per below when i attempt to extract the files (WINRAR), usually the smaller e.g. .cue are OK but the larger files give the error "The file is corrupt" or "Unexpected end of archive".

I downloaded all roms with the same method, even re downloaded a few as tests but the same result. I'd say around 60-70% are working fine.

Hi meatss

There is something going wrong during your download process. That particular file is NOT corrupt on our server so it probably has to do with an unstable connection at your end, some kind of malware issue on your system, or something else. We do have some problematic files but nowhere near the volume you suggested in your posts.

I just tested that without using premium and it works fine using the default download settings (for me anyway).

None of the sonic riders
Ps2 / gcn links work I've been trying since 4am eastern I'm using google chrome

Tested Sonic Riders and they all seem to be working ok. Did you try using FTP as your download method?

Mimana Iyar Chronicle for the psp is broken second extraction says file is corrupt using 7zip an winrar something about part 27 or 26.

I think the Gamecube ISO section might be messed up. I tried downloading Mario Kart - Double Dash (USA) ISO and when I was extracting it using 7zip I got the error some data may be left at end of file. Then when I tried to mount it using WinCDEMU, I couldn't, it said it was a corrupt image. I used Free Download Manager to download and my web browser is FireFox.

EDIT: I loaded the ISO directly through the Dolphin emulator and it seemed to work fine.

Yup GC and Wii images same as burned GC and Wii games can not be read like normal DVD's or CD's, hey are unreadable because of the structure those systems use

Not sure if this is the right thread (correct me if I am wrong) to post this in but, I am having problems with two games that I am trying to download and play. I am using Opera as my browser and have not used any other since downloading other games seems to be working fine. The two games I am trying to download are Discworld (U) and Breath of Fire IV (U) both for PSX. I've downloaded them and they seem to be downloading really slow and when it's done I extract them and put them in the emulator but it gives me an error message. I have tried about four (long) times but I can't seem to get it to work. I am wondering if it is the file or the download itself? Please help.

If the files extracted fine without errors then that means they downloaded alright. It might be an error in your emulator settings.

The two games I am trying to download are Discworld (U) and Breath of Fire IV (U) both for PSX. I've downloaded them and they seem to be downloading really slow and when it's done I extract them and put them in the emulator but it gives me an error message. I have tried about four (long) times but I can't seem to get it to work. I am wondering if it is the file or the download itself? Please help.

Just wanted to mention that BoF IV had a PC release. Pretty sure I had a share of it here in the forums a while back but it might be dead by now. It ran fine on XP iirc.

Discworld is also on PC but much older, so more likely to have compatibility issues with more recent OS but I really don't know either way about that one :shrug:

I am having trouble with all of the Gamecube ISOs I have been trying, but the one I am most concerned about at the moment is Big Mutha Truckers (don't judge lol). I've been trying to download it over the past two days, and I only use Google Chrome. I have already tried to download it several times. Try switching your download method to FTP under Edit Download Settings. (it's on the game download page) That should help..

there is one GameCube ISO, that i can't download. Maybe just a wrong path linked. It is: 007 - Agent im Kreuzfeuer (Germany)

This is the message i get: 550 Can't change directory to /gcnjap/007 - Agent im Kreuzfeuer (Germany).7z: No such file or directory

All other games working perfect! Downloading with Firefox.
