Well, obviously you would need a PSN account created before April 20 to be able to take advantage of the free games they are offering with their Welcome back program, but if not you will have to buy it ... it will be the same license at the end.

Dont know about running isotools on an emulator, but you should try it on your current firmware and see if it works (remember that i can only provide as much info as I'm able to gather, and not being able to test it in other firmwares version does not really mean that it will not run in others older versions).

You could try this tutorial taking as BASE a DEMO Game or any other PSN game you have bought/download (other than PSX/PSOne Classic games) and pick a game the same size or lesser size than the one to be use as BASE.

ISO Tool should run on any CFW as far as i know, another thing is your PSP not being able to run "x" game because the game need a higher firmware (in which case you most likely have the Fake_Version on your memory stick) to be able to play it.

Try and see if it works .. hope it does :)

Ok guys, Sharing of Signed games bigger than 728 MegaBytes is possible ( here : http://www.epforums.org/showthread.p...57#post1292557 ), but some criteria need to be met.

Games signed using a USA version of a game as BASE can only be played on the PSP that owned a license of that same game version.
IE.: If a game is signed with Modnation USA as BASE, only PSP that owned the USA version license of Modnation will be able to play it, people owning the EUR or JAP version of same game will get a message stating that no license was found.
Same goes for the other Regions as each region have their unique GameID.

Because of this if such a signed game is to be shared, the uploader must provide info regarding which game was used as BASE to sign the game to be shared and its region so people wanting to download and play such game know before hand if it will work on thir PSP or not.


I,f as most of us, you only have the license of just one region do not despair ... there are ways to get a legitimate license of other regions. Try googling "Sharing of PSN games on PSP"

MoD? Manga Phile tried to let me test run Prinny 2 using the new method but when I tried to play it, it said the Copyright info was invalid. ;_;

I have the license for the USA version of ModNation Racers when i downloaded as a part of the Welcome Back program that Sony did as well as the USA License for Killzone Liberation.

Yeah, me too ... unfortunatly he got EUR versions games and licenses.

Guys i have an extra PSN account that i can share with 4 other peoples that will like to have a USA license of ModNation Racers and Little Big Planet.

I would do this just for sharing purpose, meaning that i will only give it to people that have EUR or JAP licenses so they can play games signed with a USA version game.

This sounds interesting but....I just wanna know weather or not Crisis Core can be Signed in some way with AS LITTLE DOWNSIZING AS POSSIBLE.

i have crisis core as a CSO, the ISO size is around 1.60GB

I can sign that using ModNation EUR which allow to sign games up to 1.67GB
But you, as well as me, only have USA license, and i dont know what to rip of the ISO to make it smaller since it is already as small as i can get it, and Modnation USA just allow me to dign games up to 1.54GB :(

You could split the game using HJSplit after putting it in a 7Zip or something couldn't you?

i love the idea of a signed emulator and i wish i could sign a psx emulator. does anyone know how?
