1.3.0 was never listed correctly in the SVN, 1.3.1 was purely released in SVN to correct this though there are a couple of minor updates done since also

I did do a quick google though "PCSX2 SVN MAC" and found a couple of SVN builds for Mac but nothing as recent as this one for windows

For emulation a PC is still a much better machine to own, but only because of the support for building emulators is there more for PC than Mac
Another option is to install windows on your Mac via a virtual machine like Oracle VM VirtualBox (its free ware though you would still need a copy of Windows for that) or use another windows type enviroment

the emulator, probably. the games probably won't fit more than 1, maybe 2 unless you have a good amount of space on it. ps2 games can go up to 4-5gb/disc in some cases (or possibly around 20-50mb in the case of some of the simple 2000 games iirc).Quote:

i noticed you mention widescreen support, is there any draw back to forcing widescreen like some N64 game where the camera becomes dislodged and such?
(if you force Banjo Tooie to widescreen that happens and yes i know Banjo Tooie has widescreen built in just an example)

Normally, there should be widescreen patches for games that need them only. But to be true, I got them from the official forums, and never tried them myself. Logically, there should be only useful widescreen patches, I think/hope.
So if Banjo Tooie has build-in widescreen-support, then there shouldn't be any ws "cheat" at all I think. There instructions are like this:
If everything fails, I mean when the ws hack gets activated and the picture sucks, just use the build-in one of the game or try to force widescreen through "System > Emulation settings > GS window", without any patch. ^^Quote:

Start PCSX2, go to System, and make sure "Enable Widescreen Patches" is checked.
You can enable the console to ensure that the emulator has found the patch.

Sega Classics Collection should be fully playable since PCSX2 v1.0.0. Can you play other games flawlessly? Only suggestion I found, play the original games on the Genesis/Megadrive Emulator, because the PS2 collection is just an emulator on DVD of those consoles (on PS2).
Or try some Speed Hacks in the PCSX2 settings, they might help you.

P.S. I did notice that this game/s do not officially support 480p via component so it will only run in RGB mode (I say officially because there is way to get it working but that does not matter with emulation as RGB looks equally as good as Component as they both show exactly the same), though I got that from running on a real PS2 not emulation

i found out that PCSX2 has Cheat Manager but i can't download it because the file was deleted from some file sharing site
so Cheat Engine is alternate?
Use 7-Zip 9.38 to extract the files. Anything else will fail.
