Halo was fun. Halo 2 was less fun. Halo 3 was slightly more fun than 2. ODST was kinda neat. Never played Reach, but it looks fairly definitive. After all that? Please just let it die before it gets more fanboys and trolls attached to it.
Also, Gears of War, please do stop now. Looking at your grays browns and worn out reds just make my eyes want to shoot themselves out of boredom. I feel much the same myself after the first hour straight of "peekaboo with locusts".
I actually believe that Silent Hill should never die. It gives a feeling of dread that is rarely achieved in horror games outside the series. It seems most horror games go the route of RE5 these days, with more action than horror, and more gore than actual fear.
Even if Silent Hill dies, the idea should never die.
Resident Evil should stop there so far from there roots now that it isnt even resident evil anymore

personally i think the digimon series is superior to the pokemon series and has been since digimon world one! resident evil has managed to reivent its over and over but will come a cropper soon (I thought 4&5 were far too similar) and compared to dragon quest final fantasy is a watered down version! Im with you on the first person shooter stopping (dont we only really need like 2 of them anyway? a realistic one and a crazy fast one?)
also am a big man of mario but would like to see a mario and sonic proper adventure maybe platform or RPG (like partners in time on the ds)
viva pinata on the 360 now theres a game that feels like it goes on for ever! but i loved every minute of it!
