Have you read some of the requests? "dont lock threads", "dont treat the users like children"...? And then there are the employee related demands too, which happen to be imo legit. Since if in a working environment, personal emails should not be sent at all, so yes, moderation of them is reasonable.

Yeah I agree. The demands seem rather unreasonable. Plus, it's so hard to take demands seriously when the "terrorist" doesn't proof read his letter :wacko:

Because no one listened to the guys whom said patching LV2 would risk bricking consoles.. You can already play backups anyway using Geohot's firmware, you just have to patch the game executables on a case by case basis. Geohot is a prick. I never use the PSN so the only interest I have in keeping up with firmware is for new games :wacko:.

Doesn't matter if he is a prick, his firmware was more intelligently designed than what Waninkoko is trying to push right now. Patching LV2 can BRICK consoles, it's been known and said for a good long while now, but he did it anyway.. and what do we get? A bunch of people out of hundreds of dollars because of it.

I was just giving Sprung a friendly warning, like I said, there is no real benefit other than PSN access. You shouldn't be getting online with a hacked console anyway.

What's the risk? Getting banned from PSN? If you don't care about online access then it's sort of moot if you get banned. :sa-P:
Besides, as it is right now.. if you're careful about what you're doing, it's pretty undetectable anyway.

And yea I know it was just fair warning, and I agreed. This new firmware should not be used at any cost. I say if you must have PSN access, use Geohot's firmware and patch games manually, that's the safest and cleanest option available to everyone right now.
