Employed part-time by a security company*. Clubs, pubs and such usually have a contract with a particular company to provide however many qualified people for certain shifts. In theory, it helps weed out the scum before the lawsuits do.

End result is that each week I'll end up doing shifts at any of the places the company provides for. Which are all over the city.

*The license requirements are different for employees vs owners and freelancers/subcontractors. It's a hell of a lot cheaper and easier to get licensed as an employee.

Vineyard owners employ a contractor, who employs us, who gives us work at other vineyards he has contracts with.

The money ain't bad, but it's only 15-20 hours per week to start with. All of it afternoon/nights work.

edit: Not allowed to swing at people, unfortunately. Any contact has to be restraint only. Course, in the heat of a fight it's easy to be just that little bit rougher than is absolutely necessary necessary. And I'm not exactly lacking for physical size.
