Dunno, 'twas relatively easy for me to acquire a pre-modded console without resorting to online shopping. That might differ around your place of residence, though if you know where to look, you should find one sooner or later, I believe.

If I could get a mod from a shop near here, or Swapmagic that would do. but noooo. ><'
there is a store around here called 297 Chip and they do it all, honestly look around.. even in your classifieds and you might find chippers :P
A new Tales of game will be released for PS2 in Japan this summer, Tales of Fandom Vol2, including chars from Symphonia and Abyss.
Also, I've heard Kojima could be interested in making a new game full of zombies.. is that true crusher? :P
I read about that -- apparently, the idea is that, if you get bitten by a Zombie, you BECOME a Zombie and lose control over your character, so you have to register a NEW character to hunt YOURSELF down!
Pretty cool, actually... I wonder if they'd be charging for every character, though...
Yeah it's true. It sounds somewhat like his "if you die you are dead and have to start over" idea. And that was implanted into MPO as the White Flag system. Apparently it works pretty well so who knows, maybe he will manage to implant this zombie thingy into a game as well. Maybe MGS4? Imagine lots of zombies, Snake and Gekkos everywhere. ZOMG!
Capcom has confirmed to gamasutra that DMC4 will be a PS3 exclusive.
I wonder when are they gonna announce the 360 release
BAD cookie!
It's not CAPCOM's fault the market conditions change after they pledge their allegiance... :D
Suuuure :P
Let's see if SEEDS inherit the same policies about exclusivites than Capcom :P
Well, if it were Mikami's choice, they'd spit on the PS3. We'll see... :P
I can't find my headless Mikami picture! :(
Headless and on fire. Needs more photoshopping. Don't forget. ;P
http://mikamitbs.ytmnd.com/
Even better than the last one! XD
:lol
I hope you still have that megaman cover of yours, I have plans for it to be unveiled soon :P
^5 to that, Ed!
Mikami has been pretty quite as of lately. Figures, as it is rather hard to speak without a head.
Hahahah. Next time you sit down to play one of his awesome games I'll remind you: ass!
good news, capcom says patch will be released to add missing effects to resi 4 down the line
http://www.capcom.com/BBS/showpost.p...8&postcount=37
and looking at ubisoft's website it looks like the north American release will do the game justice
http://www.ubi.com/UK/Games/Screensh...4363&sId=28254
The first link, I'm all about the "meh" on, 'cause the dude isn't at all sure to what extent the patch will solve the fucked-up graphics issue, and on top of that, it seems like it's just a band-aid solution. I guess we'll have to see.
The second link, I'm likewise "meh" on, because those are the same screenshots we've been seeing forever, and we all know how the Asian released turned out. I'm pretty sure it'll look exactly the same over here as the Asian release did, and we'll have to wait for the patch to make the game's graphics stop being as unappealing as 34 flavors of anus.
On a different note, the local Toys 'R Us is getting a shipment of Wii systems in today. They advertised this all over the store, so while I'm going to go over there early in hopes of getting ahold of one, I'm sure that others will be doing the same, or will show up even earlier than I will, and then I'll be fucked. Or they'll reveal at the register that the only way to get ahold of one will be in a bundle or something, which I don't have the money to purchase. Wish me luck, I guess.

What are the PS cards supposed to be?
For those who wish not to, or can't, pay with a credit card. Just like the Wii point cards, you know?
Ahh, got it... you had to mention the Wii.. :/
Poor Cookies. :P
Hwoarang better be the main character in Tekken VI. Oh, and I hope Jin somehow died in-between games too. ^o^
Yeah, pity me :(
I don't follow the Tekken chronology that much but do they actually kill characters in the series? I thought only Jun died (Jin's mother) (or whatever she's called)
Removal of the Emotion Engine?
Isn't that something they used to brag on?
Well..
That Kunimitsi (yeah, I don't remember her name..) chick was Killed by Yoshi in Tekken two IIRC, and there's a chance that either Brian or Yoshi died in Tekken V. Then, I don't know which endings are official story-wise, so.. uh, yeah.
Edit: Mr. Fury and Ninja/Samurai (He really doesn't know himself) aren't exactly human though...
I just played Tekken V against my brother.. Jin is bloody awful. KILL, KILL, KILL.
Damn! Finally, a Naruto game where the Sannins are playable!

Though the company is still unsure when or even if the project will see mass market release, Project GB gives players the skills of game development -- programming, graphic design, music composition, and writing -- all through hands-on play, hoping, in the end to "nurture a true 'game brain,'" the project's namesake, specifically chosen to counteract media reports of a popular Japanese university professor's term for the damaging effects of games on the brain.
The short demo of Project GB, still very early in development, showed a fascinating set of tutorials allowing players to directly edit sprites, compose animations, and change gameplay parameters to test balance of a simple Space Invaders type game, and promised to allow players who wanted more depth access to both direct logic and framework, and even low level code.
Tsushima said that throughout serious game making, developers should never use the game simply to sugarcoat the learning process, that learning isn't something bitter players must swallow, but instead games should be directly and effectively communicating the fun of learning itself.
That's why serious game development is difficult, Otobe concluded. "Without understanding the fun of learning, you can't create a game, you can only sugarcoat. You have to access yourself the core-fun of what you're trying to educate, and communicate that through gaming."
That, Otobe said, is the most important message to be taken away from Square Enix's serious efforts, and something serious game developers should always be thinking about.
Wow that's one "training" game that I'd support if it ever was to be released. :P
Commodore's back! :O

And some LittleBigPlanet info:
And lastly, Killzone was showed behind closed doors:Quote:
Another innovative example of the Game 3.0 vision is a brand-new community-based world called LittleBigPlanet. LittleBigPlanet starts with players learning about the powers of their chosen characters to interact physically with the environment. There are obstacles to explore, items to collect and puzzles to solve -- requiring community-based teamwork and brainpower. As players begin to explore, their creative skills grow and they will be ready to start creating and modifying their surroundings -- the first step to sharing them with the whole world. Ultimately, levels of the game will be user generated on a worldwide scale and will change everyday as players create, publish and share their own levels.
Users have the power to design, shape and build both objects and entire locations for others to play. Players can make their world as open or as secretive to explore as they like. When it's ready, they can invite anyone within the LittleBigPlanet universe to come and explore their "patch," or they can go and explore everybody else's.
-- Players craft their own individual experience. There's not just one way
to play.
-- Unlimited possibilities for user-created content -- players can
customize everything: their characters, the landscape around them and
their own "patch" on LittleBigPlanet.
-- Players discover and win new skills and items to aid them on their
creative journey.
-- Online and offline multiplayer modes -- work as a team or get
competitive.
No public Killzone trailer sucks. But LittleBigPlanet looks so fucking sweet that I couldn't care less about Killzone. ;PQuote:
