Well, I dunno, the character moves pretty stiff on the XBOX version... This makes the game unplayable, if you ask me... :P
I'm certain the PS2 and GCN versions are superb, though...?

It is pretty fun once you get into it. :D It’s a great way to just play the game in small doses. I wish the spree timer was a little bit longer through; my sprees always get screwed by sudden droughts of enemies. ;;
I assume you're talking about Mercenaries...? :P
difficult: one stage in medal of honor allied assault for PC, i think its called snipers heaven. or snipers last stand. you have to lead your group of soldiers through a wrecked town while staying alive and keeping them alive also. if they die, game over. it was pretty hard getting through that level and i'm experienced with MOHAA.
How hard is it to score points for bloody Leon? He's even harder to get 5 starts with than Hunk...and Hunk is pretty hard on all stages but the first.Quote:

resident evil 1. i've been through resi 2, 3, 4, CV, all with ease. yet i've always had difficulty surviving through resi 1. even on the GC.
Yeah, I getcha... Carrington Institute: Defense on Perfect Agent was the bane of me for a loooong while... X(Quote:

The inside of the technodrome was frickin' impossible though... Ninja Scrolls were the saviour of me, 'specially against The Shredder...
I only really beat the game until I was liek, 18 or so... And that's because I didn't have access to it until then... I had a grin the whole day when I finally beat it... Hehe... :P
final fantasy 2 was hard the 1st time around i played it also. which was wierd cuz i played FF3 before i played 2 and 3 was easy for me lol
Also some of the times for cheat codes were just inhumanely fast.Quote:

Pretty much everthing on the nes even though as a kid i could beat the games i have trouble on now.
I have been spoiled by the new age of easy games.

This is very difficult, however I felt very accomplished when I finally completed it. ^_^ I think it’s the best X game.Quote:

Shinobi for the arcade. No continues on the last mission? Bullshit!
Has anyone heard of fucking Hexen? On the hardest difficulty?!
Didn't read the whole thread.
Megaman X6 was pretty annoying.
Phantasy Star II!
Neifirst is the absolutely most hardcore badass boss ever and..gr.. >_>
Though Redrum in Xenogears was irritating too.
As for games that are difficult on the whole though..erm..I find the Nippon Ichi titles infuriatingly frustrating x.x
The first Zelda on NES. I never realy got into it anyway.
NHL Championship 2000 - PSX
There seems to be a bug because I never score a goal...
Crappy controls for the win! I found Worms Blast to suck even more in terms of controllability.Quote:

Any Final Fantasy game for me as well just because Im not good at those games
the hardest game on earth freecell level -1 and -2 i still cant beat them!!!!!!!! yes windows freecell=) just kiddin. The hardest game i ever played in my whole entire life must be without a shadow of a doubt any ninja gaiden for nes. When i beat the first one everyone heard me screem for joy. Come to think about it almost any nes is hard the no saving no loading straight out platform and many hours of game play. These new gamers really dont know whats hard i still remember trying to beat super c another rough one.
The time snares puzzles in Bards tale 2. Never could beat that game even with the offical guide book.
Not really, it's just about the same thing... Played both versions already, so I should know... :sa-bgrin:Quote:

I even upped the battle speed and changed to active type -- only two bosses that gave me a whoopin' were the dark elf and the demon wall... Dunno, maybe it's because I was already familiar with the game, so meh... :P
Not the translation patch, the official translation was what sucked. That's why I only played the patched version.
NO REP for j00!!
On account of your horribly confusing post... :P
But yeah, the US version was based on easy-type, and some items and skills were (inexplicably) cut from the game...
Anyway, another hard game was Marble Madness... I could never get myself to finish that game...
You all need to die a horrid death for not mentioning SMASH T.V. Yeah. So. You may now all put the bag over your head and lie down.
