I have a friend who's nuts about Kenshin. Even to the point of pulling your eyeballs out of thier sockets if you dare call it Samurai X. I wasn't aware the two had anything to do with one another, cause y'know, I don't keep up on it. But still, I witnessed this in action about a year or so back, when we were hanging out at the arcade. The fat bastard started talking about Kenshin, and someone said something about Samurai X, and *POP*, there went his eyeballs.
Currently watching naruto

You know, I haven't actually had a chance to play it, yet. I have it patched, though, and I have naught but free time this weekend, so...Quote:

Bleach, Naruto, Samurai Champloo and Love Hina.
Orochifunk: zOMG another norwegian guy here!..
Thank god there are still great anime shows like Bleach, Moon Phase, School Rumble, and BECK. Actually, above all, Bleach is the only one I feel that prolly end up just like Naruto. A great show deterred by an incoherent storyline going nowhere. Hey, at least they dont have flashbacks every five fucking minutes. Dammit, I wish they would release an official album for Bleach and BECK. Music is both very persistant and in your face. Its hard not to notice it after the credits roll. BECK is especially awesome in that regard, because its more centralized around the concept of rock.
Ive gotten into the habit of watching Fruits Basket too. Its still a damn interesting show, even after only watching 6 episodes the first time through initially. Im up to 12 now, and Im not surprised to see why so many people have acclaimed this one a year back. Its got a lot of characters, and saves the over-excessive use of fan-service for comedic relief. What it is about, Ill hold for next discussion. I want to finish it before I make any final judgments. There are 26 episodes in total, and purchasing a DVD (which is the only way of watching right now, legally that is) with get you 6 episodes. Hot dog! Thats a pretty sweet deal.
I'm currently watching Naruto, DearS, Prince of Tennis, Ragnarok The Animation. Is there any good ones out there that I should take a look at?
Well, you've probably seen them already, but just in case: Chobits and Neon Genesis Evangelion are both great. Pantsu!Quote:

Hahaha, What is Chobits about?
Chobits is about the word "pantsu". You'll get it when you've seen it. Gogo download.
Chobits. And you can't just quantify it as "pantsu." It's a very deep look at the culture surrounding computers (Not necessarily just the Internet and uber-geeks, but computers in a more popular scope), and the purity in symbolism of a new life, AI. It's overrun with t3h symbolism!
And pantsu.
Alright, that aside...I finished the game Magic Knight Rayearth over the weekend. I think I really did prefer the anime to it, though. It just had a better story, in the first season at least (Second season rather went downhill, in my opinion, but that was a different storyline altogether).
Fruits Basket is a fine show indeed. I would say that those who don't like sentimental anime probably won't like this one, but for the rest of us, it's good stuff. Great characterisation and a strong underlying message are it's key highlights, at least in my book. I love an anime that has characters you can relate to, or that seem real, and despite the anime's wacky premise it has that in spades.Quote:

Gundam X. Only one at a time for me.
I finished downloading FMA. Go me! Now I need to find the time to watch it. I'm going to start downloading Gunslinger Girl now. I've heard lots about it, and thought I'd try it.
Right now Im watching Naruto, Bleah, and Gundam Seed...
if your gettin seed u can get the dual audio version from anime hq
I'm really, really liking Gakuen Alice right now. It's so cute and funny. Think cute girls with weird powers going to a school for the "gifted". Hilarity ensues.
I just bought Hoshi no Koe so I'm going to watch it again. Sad and touching love story ;_;
I'm also currently downloading the Berserk anime right now after having read the manga up to volume 27. I know it'll be a let-down but I simply MUST experience it in anime form.

Hi,
im currently watching Wolfs Rain, Full Metal Panic and Inuyasha, all currently being broadcast on MTV Italia.
Out of the three, Wolfs Rain is the most intriguing in my opinion, because of its fantasy storyline. Not that Inuyasha is anything ordinary mind you, but of the two Wolfs Rain seems a bit more serious, something with a more epic storyline.
Because they all seem like pretty recent mangas, im wondering if anyone on your side of the ocean has seen them and has any opinions, especially of Wolfs Rain or Full Metal Panic.
Thanks.
Mai HiME, Air, Bleach, Naruto, Nurse Witch Komugi and I'm watching Girls Bravo again.
I was watching NGE and broke for Inuyasha. but now I'm only 20 eps from the end and the site I was d/l from has gone down.
You have them on your comp? I want to have NGE. Please... :P
Fruits Basket. Reminds me of my ex-girlfriend really.
I really enjoyed that, for some reason. Never did get around to watching any of the anime, but for an anime adapted RPG it was actually kind of good.Quote:

Nothing much ever happens and, as one might expect, any mishaps that befall the girls are no more severe than one might expect the mishaps in the lives of librarian staff to be, accidents involving gigantic bookcases notwithstanding. It's just my sort of show, to be honest, I like calm, sleepy stories. I'd be reluctant to recommend it to others, though...
I've started watching Xenosaga and Ah! My Goddess TV.
Xenosaga is alright...I prefer watching the game though xD
And Ah! My Goddess is just a remake...With more eps !_! It kinda lacks what the original had though IMO.
I got about halfway through Kokoro Library. It was rather dull, I agree, but I still want to finish it. I just keep running into other animes I want to watch, and it keeps on being pushed back.
For instance, right now I'm debating between Read or Dream, Pretear, Irresponsible Captain Tylor, and Hime-chan no Ribbon. Too much anime, not enough time in the day...
