A while back I edited Knockout Kings on the PS1 simply by opening it in.. I think CDmage and extracting a text file that had some character profile on it. Changed the text and reinserted it, it worked perfectly. I daresay it isn't always as easy as that though, lol

And as for the plugin.. that wasn't a success either lol.. Unless I have the wrong one.. maybe I'm lost.. as usual.. - How is it possible to have some file translate a whole game it may have never seen before? Just doesn't seem able.. But it's just me lol
D3D 1.5.1 is the best one I used for Mario Tennis, but Force normal needs ticking otherwise it runs like crap.Quote:

Course it isn't quite like that, but that is the gist. You then import the file which will overwrite all the neccessary data.
Hey.. How's it hangin'? Did you by chance find that file? (the one that translates the text <at least> of a PSX mdf or cdrom file?) I really need it please in order to get through my game.. I got to this point where their's a quiz.. and you HAVE to pass it.. and that didn't go over so well lol..
I also need a file like that for SNES.. I have quite a few untranslated files that need to be translated.
I'm sure I'm being a bugger with all the problems I'm having, but I'm having trouble with more games for the N64.. AGAIN.. ;_; it's really insane lol
Paper Mario: I get to certain points and the screen gets really flickery/flashy and makes it hard to see what's going on.
Donkey Kong 64: I don't know for sure or not.. but is it supposed to have the same darkness effect as Doom 64? because in spots it gets really dark.
Gauntlet Legends: Is really really laggy, making play impossible.

Which PSX game do you need a translation of? There obviously isn't a generic 1 patch translates all things sadly.
For the N64, I'd use Rices plugin for all those games (get the latest).
The games needed are Tenchi Muyou! - Twinbee RPG - 3x3Eyes.. and that's all... You don't have a patch for the words? what happened to the one you talked about?

Hey. I'm having some serious troubles with PJ64 recently. (Downloaded a lot of games). and it'd be nice to get some help on it ASAP (As I don't have long to be around.)
See, I only use Jabo's and Rice's 5.5.0 Graphic's plug-in and during gameplay with games such as Cruis'n, Jeopardy (Bored), and a few others.. I get an Error.. Says "SP_DMA_WRITE" "SP_DRAM_ADDR_REG not in RDRam Space"
I have no clue what it means or how to fix it (if their's a way). I also get a couple of others, but it completely instantly closes down PJ64 before I get to read them.
And with Yoshi's Story.. the game freezes during gameplay.. I don't know how to fix it or anything..
So any help will be appreciated.. Thanks.
Try changing the sound plugin to see if that helps. If not try going into rom properties and seeing if SP Hack is on... I think that's the name.
Not sure about Yoshis Story.
I recommend you try Rices latest plugin which is much better than 5.50.

It has always been known, trouble is you need a whole bunch of time on your hands, a bit of luck and translation skills.
Ah.. Oh well. So much for that idea. Although I really want to fully understand the game.. It'd be too complicated without being able to just download a patch and be done with it.
