WMP ? Where does that come in ? You're supposed to download them, using DAP or something, not stream them =P. It's an FTP server for pete's sake!

I know that but my WMP still doesnt run some of them but nvm, I used Winamp and it plays them all fine;)
It seems like neither the "FF IX - 4Best Selection" nor the "FF IX - Piano Collection" are working.
I always get this error-message:
550 /music/FF9/Best/final fantasy 9 best selection 25 - the hermit's library.mp3: No such file or directory
I tried it the last two or three days (with GetRight and DAP using the Avant-Browser) but I'm afraid they are really dead.
Actually, not so much dead as there was an error in linking them up. Thanks for bringing this to my notice.
Oh, and they've been fixed, the links to both those soundtracks.
Well, I only fulfill my obligation and try my best to keep Emuparadise the best site regarding emulation :D (There are just too much really bad sites with tons of broken links out there x_x )
Thanks for fixing the links! =)
By the way... the Link to the SegaCD-Iso "Nighttrap" seems to have the same problem like the soundtracks. Whenever I try to download the file, I get an 550 /SegaCD/nighttrap.zip: No such file or directory error-message.
(and before I forget it... whooooaaa!!!! These new speedy downloads are GREAT!)
[Edit]
Just found some more misguided links:
Xenogears OST - Disc 2
Song No.5 - 550 /music/Xenogears/Disk2/Xenogears2 - 05 Shebat, the Wind is Calling.mp3: No such file or directory
Xenogears CREID
Song No. 5-9 - 550 /music/Xenogears/Creid/depends on song-number.mp3: No such file or directory
Zelda - Majora's Mask - Miscellaneous Tracks
Track 150 is linked to Track 155
Track 151 is linked to Track 149
Hello. I want to offer a compliment as well as information about a 'broken' link.
First, thank you very much for posting the Rom goodsets. They are wonderful and greatly appreciated!! I attempt to show my appreciation through regular voting and hope that this helps.
Now, for the bad news. I encountered a 'broken' link when attempting to download the Atari 5200 goodset located in the roms section under goodests. I have tried numerous times to access the file including at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday May 1st and 10:35 p.m. on Friday April 30th. I have used IE, Netscape and Mozilla during my attempts. The reason I put 'broken' in quotes is that it actually does nopt appear to be broken, just pointing to the wrong location. Specifically, when one clicks on the Atari 5200 goodset, it seems to go for the Atari 2600 goodset instead. All of the other Atari goodsets appear to be pointing to the correct location. If this problem could be fixed, I would appreciate it.
Thanks for your help!!
Wow, thanks for reporting this, will be fixed in a jiffy :)
Xenogears cd 2 is not working...

but no good...

...You Guys Are The BEST...
Fixed the Xenogears Cried links, also fixed the link for Disk 2 Track 05 on Xenogears, the Zelda 2 soundtrack links (Track 150,151) aren't fixed yet.
Fixed the Xenogears CD 2 link as well. :)
Hey "Thanks a Lot"

Hey sorry to bother but...
Crono Cross is down :(

Can you take a look at it...
Please...
Hello. I attempted to download Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy III
for the SNES from the following page:
http://www.emuparadise.org/roms/snes/f/index2.html
Clicking on either link (File 01) produces the following errors:
|550 /SNES/Final Fantasy 2 (V 1.1) (U).zip: No such file or directory.|
|550 /SNES/Final Fantasy 3 (V 1.1) (U) [!].zip: No such file or directory.|
I attempted this on the day I registered and at the time of this post. I am using Mozilla Firefox. If any further information is necessary, please tell me and I will edit this response to include it.
I downloaded Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past from this site and they both work flawlessly. Thank you very much for providing this service to users on a payment-free basis.
Thanks for reporting those errors Minerva, you'll be happy to know that they've been fixed now. So you should be able to download those two files easily. If you have any other problems, do put in a post over here and I'll fix it up asap :)
Hi, i tried downloading the audio file of earthworm jim (sega cd) yesterday using the download manager getright, it downloaded a 5kb file named rename.me
i tried again with internet explorer and it seemed to work fine. can you make your files compatable with getright? since IE doesent have Download Resuming.
try using Mozilla , it's a very good internet browser + it has it's own download manager ;)Quote:

Yes, and I think getright didn't capture the link right. Our downloads are compatible with download managers. They just won't support segmented downloading but they're resumable alright..
Hey I figure the servers just busy or something but I thought I might mention it. I have been trying to dl some of the goodsets. (By the way Thank You very much for! :D ) I noticed that a few of them were not working. I tried using dap and then I tried to use just internet explorer. Now I have getright since dap isn't worth using anyway. (It always would cut my dls and start them over, so much for being resumable.) I checked them all and found quiet a few...
Atari 2600, Atari7800, Atari Jag, Vectrex, Mattel Intellivision, Memotech, Msx1 and 2, the oric sets, tandy, tompson, and nes.
The first 4 are the only ones that I am worried about. I've been tring since some time last night and they still are down today at around 1:00pm central.
As I said if its just the server being busy then I'm sorry for the post, better safe then sorry. While I'm here I would also like to tell you that Emuparadise is the absolute BEST site of it's kind and the only one I ever go to anymore. I try my best to vote daily since I'm here almost everyday now anyway. I, like many others, really appreciate the work you guys do on this page. Many props and best wishes for all the staff!
Thanks for the nice compliments buddah.
I can't make sure that the server was busy at that time since I wasn't around and we don't log the busy messages. I can tell you that I doubt that it was busy though. The server isn't generally busy (ever).
What I suggest you might be doing was, that you were trying to get the downloads together or maybe you tried two links too fast in succession. See, the server only allows one simultaneous login and if you click on one link and then you click on another pretty soon after that then the server hasn't really logged off your previous session yet so it'll show up as Busy.
What you should do is try clicking on a link, then wait for around 1 minute or so and then click on another link to capture it/download it.
That's all there really is to it. Take it slow on the clicking the links and you shouldn't ever encounter a busy message. The server timeout is 20 seconds, so even if you re-try in under 1 minute in most cases it'll work fine.
All the links you mentioned above are working fine. Just incase, you know :)
Chrono Trigger SNES download does not work, it leads to an unfinished copy of the zip that is 93 kb :) Plz fix this error :)
Well as I said I tried them the night before and the wanderswan was the first I tried anyway. Then I went ahead and checked the rest. It just seems like those few links for some reason catch a little different. IE does seem to work fine with them as long as I turn off my dl programs. Using the temporary disable (holding alt) doesn't seem to work to well. I'll try gozilla or flash for the wonderswan set since it's the only one I need resumed. Thanks for replying and of course again for having them in the first place.
I wish my atari still worked :frown: but now it doesn't matter! :chill:
Ifrit, CT has been fixed :)
Nice :)Quote:

Edit:
(After some waiting): What in the seven hells?!?!:eek2:
Now when I try to go to the soundtracks
it says "Forbidden"
Every single link in the Sega CD iso section is down.
I had no problem downloading them before the hacker a few days ago or whatever.
My DAP settings are right, and i've tried downloading like 15 times now.
I just get a white blank screen.
when you reuploaded the pages, were they old backups with the incorrect links? dunno what's going on.
Thanks for the great site, sorry to complain.
The same thing happens with all the roms in the SNES and N64 categories.
The link to Final Fantasy Origins part 2 is broken. I'm using IE 6+
I've fixed FFO. :)
I get an error with Opera if I try to resume the song The sky, the Clouds, and You in the Xenogears soundtrack
Seems to work now. Don't know why but it works. Sorry for the error.
I think this pic will explain my problem with Mickey Mania pretty well...
I've been downloading Sega CD ISO's for days and have had no problems either.
Mr.driller 2 for the gba
I'm not sure is i should post this in the chrono paradice section or here but:
I get the chrono cross album download page for bothe links.

I whitnessed this july 16, 2004 1:08PM Eastern time
i used internet explorer 6
None of the xenogears work at all, not even the mirrors... I've tried to d/l lots of times over the last 1 or 2 months and its been the same.
I am having problems with the Lunar: Silver Star Story for Sega CD ROM... I downloaded it (I'm using IExplorer.) I've tried downloading it several times, but for whatever reason it won't run once downloaded.
Err... also... the file for Lunar was only a little over four megabites and I thought it was spose to be about eighty. Or something. Really I am not too knowledgeable about ISO's or anything... so any help is appreciated. (I did somehow get Lunar: Eternal Blue to work on Gens)
[Edit] Disregard this. I figure out what I needed to do... Sorry bout that.
hi, I have tried to download Xenogears CD1 severeal times over the last few weeks. both in happy and unhappy hours.
I have tried downloading it from both the main ftp server and the mirror one. I have tried downloading it with EI6, Opera, MOzilla FireFox, DAP, CuteFtp and SmartFtp. never seemed to work.
and it doesnt seem to be something wrong with my computer, as I can download Xenogears CD2(by the way, thanks for fixing CD2, it didnt work in the past). I know that I was able to download it in the past so it must be dead or something now.
but the main server and the mirror server gives me different msgs.
I am sure that the main one says that it can't connect, and when I try to connect to the mirror one it takes alot longer, but then it says that it couldnt connect or my password is incorrect. I've tried using the
user: emuparadise
pass: gimmedownload
ofcourse, and I tried opposite too.
it seems that nothing works. I also tried going to different parts of both ftp servers. but they, as I said, seem to be down.
and now I would like to thank emuparadise for offering us such a great and unique site. thanks.
Howzit. I've been downloading the psx iso Tomb raider and have downloaded rar files 1 to 6 but now when I try to download the seventh file the ftp server claims that the file does not exist. It's now the same with the other files. It worked before though. I get the error message : "The file or directory ftp://208.37.28.56/isos/Tomb%20Raide...der.part07.rar does not exist"
I've also tried a straight ftp connection but the isos directory does not seem to exist either.
I'm using Redhat 9 and the konqueror web browser.
If I use mozilla I get"
ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved
The following URL could not be retrieved: ftp://208.37.28.56/isos/Tomb%20Raide...der.part07.rar
Squid sent the following FTP command:

I also can't seem to download xenogears disk 1 either. For the second ftp sever it's allways timing out. Please help.
Thanks
You should probably redownload it afterburner. The link has been fixed, but it's a new compressed file. :-)
Hey, new here, just a little question that I didn't think worthy enough of a whole new thread
Whenever I attempt to download the Harvest Moon: BTN ISO it asks for a password and username...
I've tried "emuparadise" and "gimmedownload" and it didn't work...
I've tried my username and password...didn't work...
I've read all the downloading FAQ's...didn't effect anything...
It just keeps bringing up that box asking for those
Probably a simple problem...but annoying nonetheless
And by the way, Im using DAP7 and I have Windows XP if that makes a difference...
I dont think that the anti leech software alows you to use DAP...Quote:

I've tried CuteFTP but it was pretty messed up...
Any simpler program? Or some kinda guide to how to use CuteFTP? (Not the one that is on this site...that only tells you the configuration details...)
