I hope you guys don't mind, but I have a question as well. Alright I plan to get a PSP3000 this Friday with my first two games being Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and Portable 3rd. Obviously you can only get the Portable 3rd through ISO download which I did and patched with the last english update the translation team did.

Well today I was researching PSP homebrewing when I came across this guide, and was wondering if this was all I needed to play Portable 3rd? If so then that's great, I just need to follow the video tutorials and I'm set, but if not then what do you guys recommend?

You may want to create your own thread, specially as most the posters in this thread have either PSP100X or PSP200X

Personly had both but never had a PSP300X or had exp hacking one

It does look like a CFW and every CFW I have seen/read about are made firstly to play iso/cso images and secondly to play homebrew

I admit the VHS menu seems to have no ISO loading options, but on the linked page it says it supports ISO loading, so unless the game you want to play has compat issues yes it will run with that CFW

The HEN doesn't have ISO support, but with ISO Loader, yes.
The CFW, do have ISO support, you can just load your game straight from the XMB.

The OP for this issue made a new thread because this thread was more for 1000/2000 users not 3000 users

So all I could do was have a quick read and give my thoughts on it

What I don't know everything and I am rusty on alot of things nowerdays... getting old :S

Ah yeah, noticed that, just wanted to clarify on what you saying up there.
