Buy Lumines, firstly. Before you do any of this. Then there is no way you'll be stuck on Firmware you don't want. :wacko:
You can buy it here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...5398&rd=1&rd=1
How about no
i dont want to buy anything
GUYS...WTF IS GOING ON HERE....
Squeble001...DON'T DO ANYTHING...
Guys...he mentioned that he is already on version 2.60, SO HE DOES NOT NEED LUMINES OR GTA to downgrade. Why do you want him to spend his money on a game that he DOESN'T require to downgrade his PSP ??
Edit: Squeble001....just what Cookie Monster and Sprung said....follow this guide and you'll be at the latest custom firmware in no time ;)
The Ultimate Downgrader Guide (by the way its the same guide they recommended :P)
According to that guide, I would first recommend you to figure out whether your PSP's motherboard is a TA-82 mobo or not. Take a look at the picture that is given in that guide and see if the words "IC1003" are written on your PSP's mobo as shown in that pic :) If you see those words on your PSP's mobo, then you've got that motherboard. If you don't, then yours is a normal PSP :)
And from there on, just follow the guide. It would recommend you to go from firmware....
2.60 => 2.71 => 1.50 => 3.40 OE-A
Its pretty easy, but first you need to make sure which motherboard you have :) Even my initial PSP was at v2.60m I went the same exact way but mine wasn't a TA-82 mobo :)
Edit II: I would gladly add you to MSN and guide you through the whole process but am at work and my shift's about to end. May be someone here at EP will help you out :)
Final words of advice....READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING.
i have everything you have, im trying to update to 2.71 but i dont know how to update
Gaara and the others have provided you with links to everything you need to know. You don't know how to get to 2.71 because you haven't read the guide they've linked you to. As Gaara says, you need to read. It's not like your PSP is going to get down/upgraded without you doing a small effort yourself. So, on with your reading glasses, now..
