Being an American, I always forget that about the PAL version.
Also, you can't play PAL versions on a NTSC only TV, which is what most US TV's are.
edit--
FireFox just keeps randomly crashing on me :bang:
Anyway, since you got the torrent from here, it's NTSC., so forget the PAL stuff we just mentioned.

What exactly is a PAL version?
I'm in Canada. I'm kinda dull-witted and need all the knowledge I can get. Alot of PSX games are hard to find around here. I paid 40 bucks just to get a really damaged copy of FFVII...
So, if someone is kind enough, even generous enough, to help me out. :) I'd owe you

PAL = Europe = 50 Frames Per Second
NTSC = US, Canada, Japan = 60 Frames Per Second.
If you open the Disc or ISO and look for the serial number, a file named SLUS or SLES or similar followed by a number, that will tell you if the game is PAL or NTSC.
If the 3rd letter is U then it's US.
If the 3rd letter is P, it's Japan.
If the 3rd letter is E, it's Europe.
You can open the disc by putting it in your comp's CD drive and Exploring it.
For ISO's, mount to a virtual drive, then Explore the virtual drive to find it.

Ok. I've run the ISO off, and it works perfectly...
Well, almost perfectly. How do I slow down ePSXe? It goes crazy speeds.
-
"Settings -> Video -> Auto Detect Frame Limit"
-
Config > Video > Configure > Use FPS Limit
For ePSXe, that is.

Hey! It works. I guess I'm not going to use 'em on my psx.
Thanks guys for:
1) Helping me out in my time of need.
2) Not making me feel utterly stupid about it.
I owe you!
