what kind of connection do u have

1.5mbps/300kbps DSL connection with Verizon.

So basically I can download at around 190kb/s and upload at a tops of 45-50kb/s. Excellent.

1.1 MBps/256 kb DSL.

Haven�t seen on of these in a while. I get 28800 b\s

I'm currently using 56k dial-up, but along with FireFox, it's pretty fast.

I'm planning to go up to a 384K bi-directional connection with TDS Metro.

I don't need fast, I just need faster than dial-up speed so I can surf and download faster.

3mbit/384k cable...they said they were upgrading me to 5mbit/384k for free, but for some reason, instead of going up, i ran some bandwidth tests, and i'm averaging around an actual speed of 1.5mbits...but anyway, i trust this is just some glich they ran into while upgrading and i'll have my 3mbits back soon (or 5mbits that they promised, which woudl be even better)

Did I mention I have a 2 mbps connection, which at least used to have a 2 mbps upstream too, though it seems to have gone down to 0.5 mbps now? I do.

ADSL 4 lyfe. I may get my connection upgraded within two months, though this is a vague premonition at best...

Im on a 3mb down/ 256k up cable connection whihc gives aroudn 400kb down and 50kb up speed.

Ive been wanting a better service that offers more upload speed, but there just isnt anything out there that isnt T1 o.o The wierd thing is I still cant get dsl in my area, when almost all areas around my neighborhood can lol. Im loooking forward to WiMax out here though.

256Kbit up means 32kB/s....not 50kB/s

And haha, i'm laughing at Ziegfried who lost all his upload speed, I just wish sometime i could change my connection to something like 4Mbps down and 1.2Mbps up. @_@

I know this but i still have AOL. You see, around here my parents make the choices for internet. I can't get anything better than dail-up around these parts but AOL does cost way to much.
