My dog Midnight disappeard recently, now all I have is my goldfish named moogle and my cat Leviathan or levi for short :D
I have three cats. Mehki (mine, also the biggest) thinks he's a dog, so he barks instead of meows. Tyrese(my mother's, the coward) used to be afraid of everything. Now he's never home. he leavesa nd comes back as he pleases. Tiny Whiner (A gift from a friend, also the smallest) She was given to me becasue the owner couldn't keep her so she gave her to her sister. Her sister was allergic so she gave her to me. Great cat.
None of them shut up for more than five minutes at a time. Only TW because you really can't hear her at all.
I have a Jack Russell terrier called Bill, I'll take a photo later and post it. I'd always wanted a dog, and I finally got Bill when I was 6 years old, so I've had him for a large portion of my life thus far. I'm really sorry to hear about your dog, MasJ. :( It always hurts to lose a pet, especially one so young. I have no idea what I'll do when anything happens to my dog, I don't even know if I'd get over it. :frown: Pets really do become part of the family, and it's hard to imagine life without them. I love animals, and you're completely right when you say they're better friends than human beings. Oddly enough, my father also had a bulldog called Suzy when he was young. :)
Anyway... I wish you all the best, MasJ. I don't really know what to say that hasn't already been posted... all I can say is time is a healer, and that you'll always have happy memories of the time you and Silver spent together. I'm sure that in those few weeks you spent together you both gave each other a lifetime's worth of love and friendship, so take comfort in the fact that you made his life as happy and loving as possible. He'll always remember you as the man that loved and cared for him, and wherever he is now, rest assured that he's happy and free of pain. Godspeed, my friend.
My dog. This is the lazy fucker I have to go for a walk with every day. His name is Snoopy, and he's 8 1/2 years old. He is actually pretty "smart", he understand words like (in norwegian, of course) "Sit", "Food", "Want to go for a walk?" (that makes him go sit by the door :P), "Bad dog" (he always lower his head when we say that :P), "Rex" (a dog that lives a few houses away from us. When we say Rex, he always looks towards where he lives...). That's only a few of the word he understands.
Note; on picture 4 you can see he sleeps in a couch. We replaced that couch a few months ago with a new one, so now the old couch is in the basement where he sleeps at night. :P
Five years ago I had three of those tropical goldfish in a tiny tank without air pumps, filters, or anything for that matter, they three days later.
A few months later I had twenty really cheap goldfish, 19 of them died in a month but one lived and it was really quite pretty to look at. Anyway, that one died later of what I'm assuming is loniness.
Then I bought a bigger tank and had five more fish, and I got bored and forgot to feed them and they died. And those were the last pets I had.
yah two of the three fish i got for free when the local walmart turned to a supermarket and the third i paid about 12 cents for it a week or two later
maybe you should buy a pet with less high mateneince? :wacko:

Male Cat is named Pooder (Such a stupid name... I hate it), he's grey with black markings and long haired, female cat is named Ponkers/Punk Ass, whichever you prefer, she's black and long haired, and the lizard is named Spike... I think.

My Dad doesn't like any animals, so we keep him outside. He lives outside, and is a cat kingpin. He bashes kitties who take his food and shit, and I hear him fighting sometimes. I saw a cat in the neighbourhood, missing an eye, and was like "Go Linky, you legend (Linky is the name of my cat)."
My cat is teh awesome.
I had a dog once. And one or two cats.
My mums got a dog called Patch - a rough collie - who is as soppy as hell. He's also incredibly stupid, but in the nicest possible way of course. He does, for instance, know a few of the more basic commands...however, he has a tendancy to be a bit dumb at times. Still, he's a good dog really, and my mum dotes on him in a big way.
Regardless, sorry to hear of your loss MasJ, losing a loved one is always difficult, and a pet is no exception from that. Hope things pick up for you soon, and I hope another puppy gets the chance to live in such a loving household soon.
