Hey Vanit. I don't have that luxery. When you live in a town of 3,500 and the nearlest "large" town is about 30,000. There aren't many options on shops like that. I was asking because I can get more reliable info becuase I can ask my question and then get an answer just for that question instead of having to read through pages that have no use to me.
I may want to play DivX or XviD and MP3 files with the Reality Media player. I know it can boot from the memory card. I want to know if it can boot movies and audio files from DVD? I would still want to know if the PS2 would be able to read backups on DVD+R.

i think that ps2's only use DVD-R , unless you have a new Silver ps2. they play DVD+R.

Everyone is making this sound more complicated then it is. All these supposedly special features are actually just standard. There are just those crap chips that don't have them. Get Messiah 2, I've yet to find something it can't do (hehe, that rhymes but its not meant to...).
