err, sorry. I tried the game (on visual boy advance), and the screen goes black after you choose mario and luigi, new game. the original mb game works though.

I got it to work. What version of VBA are you using. I haven't updated mine in a long time and it even works with this rom.

Hey Sharp, I had the exact same problem. Make sure you have "Use BIOS file" enabled.

ah, hey, it's still not working. not on vba, or batgba. could you somehow get a save file across to me (though I have no idea how) of having just started a new game? it might work then.

It works for me and I don't have that enabled.
