DC++ is spyware free, and you can connect to multiple HUB`s. And of course, there is some other features.

but in every hub they want that you share at least 1 gig...and for the real cool hubs 5 gig or more( I have 10 gig of ps2 games on my hd so that is not the problem) but many people don't have that amount of usefull stuff on there HD.
A) You shouldn't be downloading programs anywaysQuote:

First off sorry for the late reply buddy, second ummm I don't really know about how it works because I rarely ever use it. I am more into getting roms from other places these days.Quote:

Kazaa Lite is simple and straightfoward.
Also, I made a "very common search" in ES5 and that search when done in Kazaa shows at least 100 results:biggrin:, but when I did the same search in Earth Station 5. It gave me NONE...:hotmad:. After making the search thrice it showed me only TWO files....
May be people are not using Earth Station 5 that much...
Anyways, thanx for that and ANY OTHER PROGRAMS....
Well, I know, I`m evil.Quote:

About the radiorips...I always get radiorips when I want a song. Sometimes, I even get commercials in the middle of the songs.
WinMX is perfect for downloading music, but the queues lasts forever...
Well, Napster is the best thing that has existed...
K++, Bittorrent, Direct Connect, Earth Station 5 and ed2k are good filesharing programs
Direct Connect is beautiful, providing you have enough shared, you can get in some pretty big ass hubs.
Okay heres the deal I am man enough to admit when I am wrong and apparently I am wronger then I have about something online based since I can recall about earth station 5, I think all users of p2p need to read the following link http://www.zeropaid.com/news/article.../10022003i.php , the following link is considered by many the one true most useful source for the p2p scene and I was angered and discusted at what I found that there is real ACTUAL proff that ES5 has links with the RIAA in some fasion or another. I used to defend ES5 as saying that it being connected in anyway by the RIAA is insane....well to my shock I am wrong in that taught. Please again forgive me about even ever saying that p2ps name around here will never happen again. :(
Ok, someone mentioned iMesh. THAT used to be totally spyware loaded and when I ran adaware it killed iMesh so it wouldn't work. Same with BearShare for that matter. Of course I haven't used either of these for a pretty long time. Haven't trusted them. WinMX has been pretty good but the waits in line are a bit long at times. I have never had any trouble with Kazaa Lite K++ in so much as radio rips. Never had even one. BUT I have had a few renamed or incorrect name/artist when it comes to music. Try searching for Weird Al and you get tons of stuff that say they are Weird Al but are clearly not. On the other hand, I have searched for long versions of DDR songs and have had wonderful success.
This is just my experience.
Now for my opinion on whether file sharing is good or bad...look for my other post I am about to start.
I think there is a iMesh Lite too. Yeah, I used to use iMesh, but too much spyware.
Here is something ggod for Kazza that is a firewall. Just download at techtv/screensavers.com you will have to look for it there but i just did it today and it works like a fat rat in a cheese factory. That was stupid. It is called peerguardian and it is very nice.
techtv kicks a$$! I watched a guy mod an xbox LIVE on that channel so that you load a disc once and never have to use it again. You can keep the disc in a safe place. They even loaded a new OS into it. That was SWEET. Now if they would do that for PS2...
iMesh lite? Anyone have more info on this?
what is this new code going around..?
and right now i use winmx and dc..
but i know no hubs..
and most of the hubs want me to share more than my hdd has in capacity..
funny right..
yeah that was hilarious..
peace..
Kazaa is great if you like fake files, whereby they play like the proper song for a bout 30 seconds or so before turning into a concerto of hideous squeals and high pitched horribleness. I really cant see why people bother pulling this shit - if I had the time and the resources I would kill them all to death. But I dont, so I cant. Oh well.
I use KaZaA Lite sometimes, but my main program is Overnet. Great selection of files, it has almost anything.
There's even a website that provides links to files, but I won't post that here, because I'm afraid I would be banned or something like that.
