Try a game you know to work first like powerstone

I tried Monkey Ball, which I know that worked (I think) on earlier versions. On MakaronEX-T12/5 or T12/7 it appears the error I mentioned on the start of the post, since that is what happens when I try to open any game on MakaronEX or Makaron T12/5-T12/7.

Make sure the earlier version still works then

I have a feeling this is an error in your system rather than the actual emulator itself

something that has directly effected your system files maybe...

You try running the latest Direct X update see if it tries to fix it and go for the latest video drivers for your system, if it's a laptop then look for the official drivers page for your laptop otherwise just got for the official site for your chipset/graphics card

Hate to say it though Monkey Ball is a GD-Rom game so the MAME zip file does not work anyway

P.S. the game runs full speed i demul for me and both demul and makaron run about the same speed in general the very odd game runs a bit smoother in one or the other

I also did get the game to at least boot to the test screen in Makaron 12/7 but can't get out of the test loop exit test just reboots back into the test screen....

If you have issues with Monkey Ball, I have it converted to lst and bin, and also tried with the earlier version SlashOut which works.
And I'm sure I already tried downloading many times that vcredist file.

Well, I wonder if someone got to find a fix for this Makaron error yet, as I haven't.

But to play VOOT 5.66, now I could set my laptop battery plan to the Highest performance, and now it runs better in DEMUL. But thanks anyways.

Not sure about your error but it was still not working in Makaron T12/7 anyway, it just looped the bios settings as in you could never actually get to the game itself and T12/5 does not even recognize the game
