I guess his last few public appearances were pretty disappointing. Got himself pretty fucked up in Sochi back in 2014. So he hasn't really been on the radar. He was actually the oldest contestant on the pipes this year.
Weeeeeeeeeeeee. Looks like there's a pretty big new expansion pack for Civ 6. Yay!
Wahhaah. Slow-mo butt spin!
Even though we don't have a massive population most Aussies are mad about sport, of all kinds. There's usually good support for it too iirc.
Whoever it was that got the bronze probably spent some time OS training like in Europe...but possibly also over in New Zealand I think they might have slightly better snow.
After a quick look they usually get at least 1 metre more, there are more snow fields and most of it is above the tree line.
If I had to train for a snow sport I'd do New Zealand for our winter and then go to Europe for their winter. But I'm not a sports person so maybe I'm wrong.
That all makes sense. I just imagined the Disney movie, Cool Runnings.
Im not impressed by these figure skaters performing to swing music. You can't keep tempo to that on ice.
lol no. It isn't as bad as that.
Way up north the climate is very tropical but the landmass is fairly large, and there are some decent mountains in a couple of states.
New Zealand is only a hop away though and pretty sure you still don't need a visa to go there (or from there to come here) even though we are separate countries. Just a valid Aussie passport.
You can drive to Canada and Mexico though :pwacko:
Our landmass isn't connected to any other countries at all. To go to New Zealand you need to catch an international flight (fastest) or go by ship.
Anyway, with an Irish passport if I'm in Europe I can travel around fairly freely.
I haven't had a valid Aussie passport for decades.
