Did you have to move to OFW or were you able to upgrade and reinstall CFW?

Sorry, I meant the HDD when I said upgrade. Good that it worked out, 250GB is a decent enough size for PS3.
Had some PSP Go memory card adapters on my watch list, one seller made a comparatively decent offer (his original BiN price was already way cheaper than other sellers of similar adapters) so I accepted it.
Probably take a while to get here. That's ok though, I have a few loose m2 cards but the max is only 2GB iirc.
USB charge cable arrived the other day, so I'm just waiting for a battery and thumb stick to arrive now.
been looking at some cases lately. I gotta ask what's with the tempered glass side panels and RGB crap? also noticed that many cases have the usb and audio ports at the top instead of the bottom.
SSDS3 firmware was one version old so I updated it, after registering the serial (only way to get firmware downloads).
Console; everything works fine, although maybe one gamepad could do with a teardown to clean the I/II button pads. Hopefully just a clean and not replace.
This console came with stock Core Grafx composite cable set so I might grab a cheap MD2 composite cable set to check out the av port on the SSDS3... also RGB cable whenever I get around to it. But honestly the latter isn't a huge priority, I don't mind old consoles like this via composite on my crt
My RGH x360 has RGB fan inside. Just blue but it's fucking annoying :lol
I should swap it out at some point I have spare consoles.
Grouch needs to move closer to a scrapyard or dump so he can salvage stuff for nothing. Beige cases are everywhere...
