Nah, don't be scared. The learning curve is steep at first, soon you'll realize that the game is mostly pattern memorization and recognition. Though, those gargoyles are most definitely assholes when it comes to inviting new players to the franchise. :wacko:

Solaire will do just fine as well. His summoning circle is right before the entrance to the roof. He basically mops the floor with those gargoyles while you watch in awe.

In fact I "skipped" a couple of bossfights by summoning OP people. When I fought Quelaag alone she completely reorganized my anus like 10 times in a row, then I summoned some Sunbro that shot a few arrows at it and that was it.

There are some fights where a partner is kinda needed, though. I'm not sure how you're supposed to fight Tom and Jerry alone. Must be tough as shit.

Sorry, I meant summon sign. If you turn back to human you can see the ones other players left, that's how you summon them to do online co-op. But CPU controlled allies like Solaire also have them. Like I said you can only see them if you're in human form.

I have my suspicions that Snorlax and Pikachu were Fromsoft's attempt and an introduction at multiplayer. Getting wrecked by infinite buttslams? Summon someone! But watch out, BLUE AND RED PHANTOMS EVERYWHERE.

Solaire always sucked for me - He would lay on some decent damage, but he'd always get killed. I finally just ended up grinding for souls under the bridge (with the dragon) and leveled myself up a bit.

Quelaag never bothered me alone, but one the one who rearranged my ass was that big ass dragon down in the sewers, before you hit the main entrance to blight town. To me, that bastard was almost impossible alone since it's pretty much imperative that you cut his tail off if you want a chance at survival.

And I don't know about Tom and Jerry - I don't believe I've ever faced them alone. They're easy with another person, but I could see where they would be a pain in the ass alone. :wacko:

Funny because I consider the sewer dragon the easiest boss in the entire game. I killed him on my first try without taking any damage. You basically circle around him and he won't ever reach you.

I tried that so many times, and it just wouldn't work for me. I know the general consensus is that he is an easy bossy, but for some reason he just rick rolled me every time, until I got someone to distract him. :wacko:
Oh, that Uber dragon in the expansion is a bit of an asshole too. I've not tried him alone, but he got in a few good licks on a buddy and I several times. :wacko:
