also my bad...it LED not LCD :/
It's LCD dude, just LED backlit.
Well I had a look at mine, as I said I'm using D-sub connection. I can't access those Display Mode settings either no matter what I fiddle around with :lol
Never had to before, my aspect has always been correct with no stretching or anything.
Only thing I ever did was switch to ECO in Picture Mode iirc :thot:
I can look into hooking it up directly to my laptop at some point via HDMI but I can't do that right now...I'm messing around with PS3 disc dumps on the desktop atm.
A lot of the Benq monitors are good for the price at at least. I mean they're cheap monitors but 2ms with speakers, down side is that most can't be overclocked much.
I think the gl2450 can be pushed to like 1920x1080 @75Hz.
The design is around 7 years old or something like that, I can't complain though mine works fine and it was free.
Still have to see if I can tweak the Asus I got last week but I haven't had time to do anything beyond basic testing to check that it works ok.
Whatever vid card you're using try messing around with settings in the software for that.
I dunno why yours has messed up AR, mine was always ok.
The physics of fucking!!!!
Are you my brother who has managed to bust 2 motherboards?
I was thinking of trying to pull out of a black hole. Gojira is also valid.
this XD
Naaah....graphics cards are more my curse....and keyboards (infact this will be the fourth keyboard where 1 3rd of the keys have shorted out on me ), and lights....and freezers, electric BB guns, drills, TVs, new type consoles...
And dude keep up :O black holes are portal now to (REDACTED!) so sayeth steven hawking (though .... would you ever tell if his system is saying someone elses words? O.O)
If you have guns, use them now.
To do what, shoot the mailman?
whelp at least I got 1 thing accomplished today now to wait on the mail to get here :bore:
Very serious on this, i ended up absolutely flipping at amazon due to 3 packages being stolen by drivers :/ (they had tracking numbers so....yeah, they couldn't get away withit, and they faked my signature). Ontop of this, england's postal service is now private so packages end up just going walkies or seized for "reasons" (friend sent me some warhammer and it got seized under the guise of "COULD BE BOMB!" ......a fucking bomb.....) and there is no point in complaining, their complaints department is handled in house....and amazon's? Well if you are are a UK resident then you get put through to india :) At which point you get someone who doesn't know what they are doing reading from a script who will eventually just offer you amazon credit instead of a refund and keep you going round in a cricle till you give up or flip...then other contrast, you get shrugged at.
I love living with an asshole that blasts his fucking radio all day long >.>
got a question I hope can get answered. I have a component cable about 6ft amd I would let to extend it by 2 or 3ft are there male to female component cables? or would this work https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...9SIA34A4FB6394 with another short component cable?
I've seen male to female component cables before. Never needed them nor did I go looking for them, I just remember seeing them some time ago.
Generally the less joins you have is better.
got my psp component cable today found out my tv is not progressive and the spare in the house won't even show anything when the psp is plugged in.
Hmmm Christmas around the corner. Came up pretty fast.
Just had a quick look, this definitely isn't best price or whatever...

Honestly if this is going to turn into an expensive exercise I would consider getting a pre 25xx PS3 (very early slim or any fat) and throw CFW on it. It's very easy to do the latest OFW has an exploit.
That can be hooked up to any tv and for PSP stuff you can run iso dumps, PSP for PS3 PSN pkg after unlocking them or even convert some PSP iso to remaster type using some software on PC.
I don't think PS TV is an option because it only has hdmi? :thot:
You can probably find one of the progressive capable Sony CRTs on CL for free. Wiki has a list here. Just keep in mind that you'll need at least one other person to lift the heavier sets unless you're a bodybuilder .
we have jvc which I checked out it's an '06 model with an HDMI port on it as well as component and composite and we have a sony which is in the garage I think that one is an 07 I think they're both 32" so yeah I'd need help to move it that's why I want to check it first if it's not buried.
I did check the jvc out but I wasn't getting any video signal on it with the component I switched through all the video input channels too I don't know if I checked it on interlace mode or not and I didn't mess with the tv's menu either I might mess around with it again later.
Is the PSP set to progressive in the display output settings?
What's the model of the TV?
